  1. set on 0 its doughy as, its like your driving a car with a stock dizzy curve and a big cam. nothing under 3000. it runs but is slow to rev. nearly stalling in gear at idle no matter where idle is set. I think the gen 8/10 psi tunes are stupidly huge way off and im shocked they are sold as tunes. what do you think I should run? when I pull the plugs I'll try and get some good pics so people can see how its running.
  2. Hi there people, I have a ba xr6t, exhaust, bigger inter cooler and injectors on it. I have got a x3 flash tuner to have a bit of a play with it. so far I have only gone from 0 to 4 on the global spark (what the hell is global spark?) 0 to 6 0 - 2000 rpm timing 0 to 2 2000 - 4000 rpm timing 0 to 2 4000 - 8000 rpm timing rev limit from 6200 down to 5900 in gear ( I rarely sees about 3200 in its daily drive) rev limit from 6200 down to 3000 in neutral up'd the idle to 750 in gear and drive added 2% more fuel at wot this is all changed on the 8 psi tune. im going to run it for a week or so then have a look at the plugs. it has given it a huge kick in the butt, hands down better than the 10 psi gen tune and a even bigger step over the stock tune the car had. before people start up, yes I know you will all say "take it to a tuner" but some comments from people with what they have done right and wrong would be welcome. I have had a search but can't find anything (im not the best with computers but know a little about setting up carby engines). it will go to the tuner some time early next year when funds allow. fuel econ is down to 11- 12l per 100 on the hwy from 13-14 per 100 so its a step in the right direction so far.
  3. what profile tyres are people talking about here? I used to have 275 50 14 on a 8 inch rim, loved to look and wind up I got off the line with them on a old panel van I had. I have just picked up some 20 8.5 rims and was looking at fitting some 275 30 20 tyres on it maybe 35 profile to the rear of the ba. do they fit in the wheel tub?
  4. Hello people, only new here and a new owner of a ba xr6 turbo. Hope this is in the right spot but is the re a list of recommended tuners around? I'm on the centarl coast NSW so newy or sydney tuners would be good
