  5. My senator did that as well, dont think its anything to worry about.
  6. vvt's also dont run a waste gate they just trim the vane to lower the speed, hence less boost. We run them on the scanias at work. Its all ecu controlled. and I think they are around 20 g a piece!
  7. Not that hard dude if you have a bit of an idea, just have to time everything right. But saying that I am a mechanic lol
  8. They look awesome and go hard, I love the centre gauge, it had to be digital because an analouge gauge couldnt keep up with revs apprently . Didnt think they would sell though, I think they are over 500,000 aus I could be wrong though.
  9. And the fully sick subwoofer that has more power than the car
  10. You forgot the clear tail lights mate, they add an extra 50 kw!
  11. Name: Aaron Age: 25 Sex m/f: male Location city /state: SA Occupation: Diesel Mechanic (Mining) Currently drive: 02 Evo 7 Next drive: Fg f6 ute Married: nope
  12. Lmfao turbo cluster! do they spool via engine heat? fully sick
  13. Ah ok paulie I guess you could always put it back to stock tune when you have to take it to the stealership lol. Yea its just wrong putting a towbar on a evo . I think vin diesel would be unhappy if I put a towbar on a 1970 charger, that thing is tuff.
  14. Thanks again for the advice verve, will definitely look at that. I don't expect the ute to be any where as good as the Evo, or handle like its on rails, Im happy if it carrys my bike, doesn't break all the time, goes like stink, and peels the rubber every now and again ( I so miss rwd lol). But yeah you cant compare it to a Japanese built car their not even on the same page build quality wise. I am a mechanic and might do the servicing, and get a friend who owns a workshop to stamp the book to keep warranty, as ive never trusted anyone to work on my cars I like to know stuff is done right. Not sure if a few missed my last question, What are ford like with warranty if something goes wrong with it and they find its been tuned? Prob chasing 23 to 24 low fly, its just clocked 100 thou but mostly country drives up and back to the river shack. Just done the 100 thou service and timing belt always had mobil 1 and serviced every 5,000 ks.
