  1. jack the car up. under front passangers side is the filter. unscrew old unit 14 or 15 mm spanner #### there will be some fuel still under pressure in the line. screw in new one 5 minutes

  9. there is a factory trans cooler located on the right hand tank on the radiator. what everyone else is talking about is a second air to air cooler earter inline with the std one or by passing the std one all together hope this helps

    the TSI unit drives the injectors and Timming unijip bends the signal going to the ecu to drive the injectors and timming. from my understanding. ← edit does that and a thousand things more. can the rdp unit or tsi corect the speedo for larger wheels diferent gear ratio turn on time for thermos cold start base fuel table maf splope adaptive learnig remove tourque tags and so on and so on just a minute example ← Stedz, you are driving the Injectors directly = NO tourqe tags Live tuning with the TSI , edit NO Adaptive learning why ? when most of the people here drive like the clappers I was mearly stating that the RPD is a rebadged TSI

  12. Not sure what the difference is but I installed a GSS342 the other week and got it in fine. It's nice and quiet and runs like a dream! I have read that the newer GSS-342 is higher pressure, same volume but at higher pressure. Rob. ← The inlet and outlet are directly opsite each other on the 342 on the 341 outlet is at 12oclock inlet at 6 oclock

  14. That way you can not share 1 box will all your mate's, why do you think it was looked for in the first place? You go back to your tuner and he resets the box.
  15. It's Vin locked the first time you connect it to your car and run the flash tuner.
  16. So I guess that means I have to get the capa flasher reset, then go back to my tuner and get the tunes flashed back into the box? Shane ← if u flashed your ecu back to stock, all you have to do is reflash it with your custom or generic map and it should be fine, its only when they reflash over your custom or generic maps is when you have a problem. ← I was under the impression that if I now flash my custom tune back in then I want to take it back to ford again and flash the factory tune back in, it will install the factory tune that the ute first came with (the one that is already installed in my capa box)....not the updated tune that ford will have on their records. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? Shane ← yes that's true but what difference should it make seeing as you will be running a different map in any case. If you have flased the ecu back to stock the box should not be vin locked anymore and you should be able to reflash the new stock map in it if im not mistaken, but im not sure what this will do to your other 3 maps stored into the box ← The difference would be if he was to go back for warrenty he would have an older version in this ECU not the currently listed one . I would have thought that was simple to figure out.
