    Good Pads

ebc red stuff are good with minimal dust and no noise cost about $180 for front set... green stuff are good for lighter cars and are a step behind the reds. and QFM pads are also up to the job with hardly any dust and no noise almost as good as red stuff and less than half the price
  6. watch the economy change when you change over those injectors
  7. would be nice to here from peeps who installed these...
  8. is everyone having good success with the external trans cooler?.. no problems after racking up some good Ks?..
  9. hey all, thinking about bypassing the heat exchanger with a pwr trans cooler to avoid the "milkshake" that happens with the trans fluid and radiator fluid... have spoke to a few workshops about doing this mod and have had mixed reviews.. some say do it, it works fine but you might feel some shifts when the cars cold, then when operating temp is reached, all is good.. others have said they wouldnt do it because they have heard of cars that have blown their zfs because the trans cooler kits restrict the flow of the trans fluid (apparently because of the oil feed lines) basically curious to know how people who have changed to the external cooler are rating this mod, and how they are going after doing 20-30-40-50,000ks with stock power and increased power.. any feedback would be great guys. cheers.
  10. cheers for the feedback guys.. just bought a stock n/a xr6 recently (family car) and noticed that it acts a bit different to the fg turbo ive got in regards to gears changing up.. mainly from 3rd to 4th and more often than not going up hill, it sometimes revs about 2-3 hundred revs before engaging 4th- under light throttle.. (changes under 2k revs) the gear change happens without any clunks or bumps, and usually doesnt happen when I put the throttle down a bit harder ie: 2500 rev changes.. bought the car off an old couple who have taken good care of it, its never towed and I doubt its had a hard day in its life, very good nick. I have had auto cars in the past that have had slipping problems (stomp the right foot and the tacho hits the rev limiter)... this feels very different to that scenario.. I wonder if its as simple as incorrect fluid level?? and being a non turbo with stock power, according to fords "sealed for life" recomendation.. should this need servicing?! anyone else experienced this type of behavioure with their zf?? any help is appreciated cheers
  11. just wondering how often the zf should be serviced and what people are paying.. also how much more it should cost for the metal pan replacement over the plastic? anyone have recommendations on where to go? have also been told that the sump doesnt NEED to be replaced from a couple of places?! not sure how true that is!.. any help is appreciated. cheers.
  12. Either way I think the 2 end results speak for themselves.. I did contact the tuner several times to address issues with the car after they tuned it.. which ended up costing more time and money and effort for no solution... hence why I took my business elsewhere... costing more time/money
  13. sorry adam... this is the bpr tune on two different dynos.
