My driving record is good my last speeding offence was easter two years ago(90 in a 80 zone).The cops where trying to bribe me into saying I was doing more than 150km/h,they told me I had two options admit I was doing more than 150km/h and just get a fine or dont admit to doing more than 150km/h and we will tow your car,put you down as a queensland street racer and you will pay a bigger fine and tow truck fees also.

About an hour a ago I just got issued a $700 fine and a lost of licence for 6 months for apparantly eceeding 40kms over the speed limit(150 in a 110 zone).Me and my mate where cruising home from surfers when my mate wanted a run(knownly I didnt stand a chance)so I gave him a squirt and when I was doing about 140km/h he was about 4 car lenghts ahead of me so I braked and backed off, he kept speeding off,and then in my rear view mirrow I see cop lights flashing(thought to my self im getting a nice fine here)so I pulled over and my mate ahead pulled over also.The cops firstly walked to my mates car and talked to him for a couple of minutes then walked to my car and said "so mate what speed did you think you where doing"without producing a radar gun I reply "about 140km/h"the cop then said"you have two choices tell us you where doing more than 150km/h and we will just issue you with a fine or not tell us you where doing that speed and we will take your car put it in impound for street racing and you will have to pay for all the towing fees and a fine as well"so I replyed "officer im telling you the truth I was doing 140km/h" the officer then took my car keys and sat in his car for about 15 minutes.He finally returned with my keys and said we are not impounding your car tonight but we are issuing you with a $700 fine and a lose of licence for 6 months for exceding 40kms over the limit which is automatic lose of licence, I replyed "I wasnt doing 40kms over the limit I was doing 140 in a 110 zone which is 30 over the limit(30km/h over the limit isnt lose of licence)"the officer replyed we didnt get you on the rader but we where doing 140km/h and you where pulling on us hard if you have a dissagrement on the fine you can take it to court".The cops then handed me the fines and left. The way the cops handeled this situation was totally unfair and they are oviously annoyed with the car scence going on at the gold coast and they are happy to see any performance car off the road.My mate got fined more than me and at 180kms an hour because he ammited to doing that speed,they also filled the fine out like this Your speed of ^150 km/h exceeded the maximum speed limit of 110km/h.This could mean I was doing 300km/h,any one with any legal advise would be greatly appreciated. Is the broady car park still good, mate if you arvive about 9.30 your lucky to get a park I had to park out the back last week near the pool,ill be at broady car park this saturday if you want to meet up, I have a envi(green) xr6t sedan and my number plates are ENVI6T ill also see if daren(FPVT6) want to meet out up also he has a blueprint xr6t sedan with a xr8 bonnet and gt wing and his plates are FPVT6. Hey mate havent draged any stock Ts, but when my xr6t was standard 174rwks I would race my mates twin turbo supra(fairly standard exhaust,air intake) and up to 100kms it was pretty much even all the way,but since ive done my upgrades 257rwkws when we drag now at 100kms im about 3 car lenghts ahead of him,hope this helps mate. fpv t6 has just purcahed a new unichip and is programed with LTCT13s,you know what that means daren.Lucky To Crack The 13s just joking mate Peter

Its about time I start settling down on the power gains and start custumising the apperance of the xr6t (coped a few is that ya dads car on the weekend but its pricless when you see there face after your blown them but 5 car lenghts) ,first of all get it lowered and put a nice set of rims on it and I notice most people put a GT wing on,but im thinking about going for a different look and taking the wing off all together.What do you guys think of this look(to ricey)and have many others on the forum done it and if so do you guys have any pics Thanks Peter.

109mph, that's faster than my 13.20, strewth Scotty <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I gave jeff a run in my car at the end and he got a 13.4 but at 106 mph.Dont know what I did different might be a miss print.

Auto mate but I used the manual shift,there was an manual xr6t there racing with phase 2 he was doing 14.5 it was his first time down the 1/4 mile to, he was bit dissapointed.

Hey guys sorry I didnt make it, went to willowbank last night and didnt get home till late forgot to set the alarm, hope you guys had a great day.

The xede and injectors are off Goldies car,I think the injectors are only the next size up,bigger valve springs,ss cold air induction,standard exhaust,im running 13psi,standard I had 174rwkw ive got 257rwkws now.

on friday I got my car tuned at chip torque to 257.1 rwkws(thanks ian for the cheap exede) and I was ready for my first 1/4 mile run down willow bank on saturday night.It was a hot night 33degs and I was going to be happy if I just broke in to the 13's,many thanks to jeff(xlr8ed)for helping me out with putting ice bags on the air intake and spraying cold water on to my intercooler(the officials wernt to happy with this water spraying).So I lined up for my first run and did a 13.6 at 108mph I was over the moon,second run 13.5 at 108mph and finally my third run I pulled a 13.46 at 109mph I couldnt believe it, I drove back to the gold coast a happy man.

Jeff I was keen to come and race tonight mate but my car isnt tuned so ill have to give it a miss good luck in beating geea. Peter.

Under the light on the front bar there is a little hole in the hole there is a plastic rod twist it anti clock-wise and the bulb will pop out then put the new bulb in place and twist it clock-wise to put it back on, you dont need the black casing it comes in.

Count me in ian, good chance to test out the bigger injectors and chip.
