I can only comment from my own experience with the XR6T, as I haven't looked at the Typhoon, and don't think I would. I've installed the APS stage 3 kit and I can't imagine a much better, quicker, more practical car than the T. For similar money once you upgrade the valve springs... and add in a few extras. So, if you are allowed to modify, and don't mind losing your warranty, then that's what I'd do. If this isn't an option then I guess I'd buy the Typhoon. I'm up to 45,000k's with no drive train issues, but I know I will need to re-build the Auto at some stage, so that probably makes the stage 3 a little more expensive, but it does have a lot more go (318 rwk). Is it really true that the Typhoon's not as quick in a straight line? This seems to make no sense!!
