  11. dont think they would have much choice you pay a certain amount of dollars for there service &/or parts and if they fail in there performance in doing what you paid them to do they are liable for any loss or damage in their negligence. the reality would be though you affording and indeed getting them to court to compensate you
  12. very interesting isnt it Expensive Daewoo and ford can only beat toyota in the large car market - now there will be a bit of a sweat in there respective management teams. perhaps now both companies will regret some of their arrogance in dealing with warranty issues that I have heard on this forum and others. I dont think I would buy one but the toyota looks the goods and the competition it will create will only benefit us

  16. as a truckie my opinion is they should be allowed to lane filter. I like it that way so I can see exactly where they are and not hiding in a blind spot. another benefit would be the fact they cant get sandwiched between 2 vehicles. no real down side as far as I can see - as for those of you that are jealous perhaps a bike license for you

  22. here in the revenue raising state; What penalties apply for Speeding in NSW? If your vehicle is detected by a fixed speed camera, mobile speed camera or Police Officer and a penalty notice is issued, you will incur a fine and licence demerit points. There are licence suspension periods, similar to the minimum disqualification periods applied by a court, for exceeding the speed limit by more than 30 km/h (3 months), and by more than 45 km/h (6 months). If police catch you speeding by more than 45km/h over the limit you may have your licence immediately suspended and confiscated at the roadside for 6 months. The following table displays the fixed penalty notice fines for speeding as at 1st July 2005. Exceed speed limit by Not more than 15 km/h -3 points + $75 More than 15 km/h but not more than 30 km/h -3 points +$225 More than 30 km/h but not more than 45 km/h -4 points +$575 More than 45 km/h -6 points + $1,550 If police detect you speeding by more than 45 km/h over the limit they may immediately suspend your licence for 6 months. Listed below are the penalties if you are convicted by a court.
