Yoz are you manual or auto ?

G-day Roof Yes I am the proud owner of a FG F6 sedan,I bought it in June and been loving it ever since.I mentioned before that I have tried some BA XR8 rims on the front which are 18's which fitted ok with plenty of clearance around the brakes,so I'd say you should have a wide range to choose from.I am having a dilemma of which way to go for tuning days @ wanneroo ,if I should get some 18 track tyres and use these rims ,but I am already due for 19's tyres so its all about the money & I dont know about changing wheels all the time as it's not my every day driver as I just use it on weekends and track days and I know what will happen I'll end up leaving the 18's all the time as I never have enough spare time to mess around.Plus I love how the Dark Argents look. The next thing is suspension I was reading your forum on your upgarde ,Every one Ive spoke to is telling me to go coil overs ( Teni ) which is about $1000 more than springs & shocks ,How do you find your upgrade ,did you consider coil overs ? ,and since your changes do you feel the need to upgrade the sway bars as from what Ive read these cars have decent S/bars on it.

Came across the Toyo proxes T1R's which get a really good write up, is any one running these tyres and if so how to they go on the odd track day. As they are available in 19's and are reasonable priced $380 a tyre fitted

] Tried the Ba rims on today and they did fit with plenty of clearence,so I think the second option is going to be the way to go.Toyo tyres keep getting mentioned so I'll look into them.It's a pitty theres not much in 19's do you know of any which would suit or is it going to be to pricey.

Thanks for the advice ,I ve got a set of BA XR8 rims which are 18's which I'll try to see if they will fit the fg,I've got the 6 pot brembos so theres not much room.

One of the points I was getting across was that braided hoses are stock, apparently on the GT & GT-P so you would think they would be on athe upgraded brake package!!!

Can anybody recommend what's the best road track tyres to use on track days,I am drivIng a F6 and have just shredded my tyres after four outings, I feel the f6 needs bigger boots on it to keep the traction and power on the bitumen, if any one has had similar experience let me know .will 265's fit on the rear of the 19 inch rims?

I found out today by ringing ford that the brembo 6 pot upgrade does NOT come with braided hoses as standard on the F6, so that's more money you have to spend on upgrading brakes that have been upgraded...

Yeah that was my thinking for a $5000.00 upgrade you think so.I've just bought one and intend on doing alot of track days ,everyone mentions to bet braided brake lines for better braking & saftey....
