Painted the shields up today. Pretty happy with how they turned out
  3. Well, I've decided even before the predicted 'artic blast' that I've had enough of riding the scooter to work and I really miss not having a ute. So, my awesome FG tub trailer is for sale and the scoot. I missed out on a RTV BA ute but am looking at a one owner BAII tomorrow that's only done 145k and pics look good.
  4. ^^^ my bad just went back a phew pages
  5. Are they the Koya Bathurst? 18" staggered?
  6. Sorry to hear yet another one has sh*t itself yet people still bang on that it's rare. So glad the factory hand grenade isn't on my car. Hope you get out of it ok.

Power coated the plazmaman oil cap and battery tie down to finish of the black look in readiness for the All Ford Day at Willowbank on 19 July. Pretty happy with how the engine bay looks now

Picked up the Garret 12psi actuator today. Will look to get it swapped over at the end of the 'turbo' season, so couple of months. Looking into the pump gears a bit more also. Might do the full Atomic race deal so brand new pump with the billet back plate etc.
  9. I did my bit. Nothing more I can add.

I've actually still got the HTP trans tune in the xcal but don't think I can load that now with Clint's engine tune and after going back to stock it was a bit firm anyway and the downshifts were lethargic.

Been liking limo smooth again but...think a little firm up and get rid of the 1-2 clunk etc is worth doing a tune again.

Ordered a genuine 12psi Garrett actuator today from MTQ. Will get it back to Profile and swap it over and going by a mates recent ZF tune Clint did, might get him to do that also. Then really need to look at the oil pump gears I think as it's starting to worry me now. Been looking into it today and probably will just go with a gear set only unless my pump has issues once taken out. To do the whole relief and billet back plate thingy is overkill for my current application. If I did a built motor then ok, no brainer.

    F6 Rspec

Insanely good. Reward for effort. I'll call it. Most tastefully done and best modified xr6t in the land.
  14. Great to hear the car is going well too
  15. I can still get a GTX76 at a 'special price' if anyone seriously wants one.
  16. Yes. Ford chick is reasonably hot also. I think Trevor's in the Tree for a quick session, Ford chick for regular and maybe make babies with the Toyota chick. No that I've put a lot of thought into it - baha.
  17. yummy. WPMO today is I've now got a thing for the Toyota sale chick. Problem is, I think she's so nice that I can't visualise doing rude things to her - unlike the Trevor's in the Tree chick.
  18. The frequent oil changes didn't save my first cams but my engine was pristine inside otherwise. Still like seeing golden clean stuff on the dipstick. Cheap insurance in my book.
  19. Had a bit of time this arvo so cleaned the throttle body again as I too had an occasional pop at no load idle. It was grubby around the edges of the butterfly and internally a little. Anyway, pleased to report with a quick clean up with Nulon TB cleaner, the fault is gone.
  20. I saw a kid fall under the wheels of a tandem trailer as part of a hay ride. I would've been about 13 - 14yo. It was my Uncle's trailer and my cousin and I were taking tickets. It was for a local footy club fundraiser. We saw this kid run and jump on without paying and we thought we'd get him to pay when the ride finished. We might have been able to signal my Uncle to stop. I remember the kid gave me the finger. As we watched the ride go around the oval he was playing around and got his foot caught on the tie down rail and fell head first and both wheels ran over him. I still remember looking and wondering why he just didn't get up. I'm 47 and I still remember it vividly. I still feel had I attempted to stop the ride he may be alive today.
