I'm running a v band housing and single entry so the merge is pretty straightforward.

If Jet can get good deals I think the Gen 2 Garrett is going to be hard to beat.

I'm going custom high mount with 50mm pro gate light so boost control won't be an issue. I loved my little GTX. If gen 11 lives up to the hype, I seriously can't think of a better turbo for a street car. I'm not after the pissin comp, laggy as fk sized jobbie. I just have to really consider my combo in a 1400kg package with three gears.

Thanks to all that have supported me over the years. I hope too my experiences have helped people. I feel the new build - whist Barra powered, is just spamming this site so I'm not posting anymore updates. Cheers and good luck with your cars. #barratheworld.

It will be a 35 frame. The whole custom manifold deal is to purely to clear the tower and go external gate. I note on GCG's site that the GTX3582R is soon to be discontinued. I'm assuming for a gen2 model.

Given how much I loved the GTX3576R, I'm considering it again. Am a little worried how it would go with a high mount and that v band housing is 1.01 A/R so it would spool even quicker!

Knocked up the cooler template this arvo to do a final clearance check and removed the p/steer pump and replaced with the territory bracket.

Seen it done with the drivers mount dropped and it would do my head in. Thing has to sit level in the bay.

Going to buzz it off and possibly back cut the manifold and stitch up to get nice clearance (10mm).

When the tuff mounts are ready, in she goes. FG plenum on its way also. They run really close to the tower - the vacuum port virtually touches. I'm intending to remove that and possibly alter the manifold a little if required. See how we go.
