  1. Had a similar problem with mine and it turned out that it had a bit too much gas in the system. Ford fixed it no problems

  6. Yep it fits together like it was made for it. I also find the GTX pretty lag free although I am on E85 as well which apparently makes it feel more responsive.

  8. Mine is pretty quiet as well. Only really audible at idle and then only just. Love the noise when I can hear it

  12. I have the a1000 on my plazmaman. As far as I know Rapid is the only place to buy them already modified but I could be wrong. I'm also using it with a standard fuel rail and regulator and have no issues. Although this is an FG so I don't know what differences there may be.

  16. 2.5 hrs to charge for my wife's S2. From what I've researched on the net that's pretty normal. No idea on usage as my wife is not a big smartphone user. The HTC Velocity I had was sh*t for battery charge. Looking on the net resulted in either getting a bigger battery that looks pox or download an app that shuts down wifi, Bluetooth etc. f*ck that as well. My iPhone has nothing ever shut down and lasts the day comfortably. Android users also seem to (for lack of the right word) jailbreak their phones a lot whereas I haven't felt the need to do that since the last time I owned an android.
  17. I think the Samsung is like the Expensive Daewoo V8. All I see on this forum is people trying desperately to make out that their androids are better than the iPhone. Personally I have tried the HTC Desire when it was amongst the first android phones and I hated it and gave it too my wife. Then I tried the HTC Velocity 4G and hated that forcing Telstra to take it back. My wife has a Galaxy S2 and it is ok but a 2.5 hour charge? Are you serious? I think Samsung are the best of the Androids but I don't think they are better than the iPhone same as I don't think the iphone is better than the android. Much like the PC to Mac debate that keeps being rehashed as well (I have 1 of each and they both have their good points). The only thing I dislike about the iphone is that you get a new one and the screen will look the same as your old one. But Android are like that now as well.
  18. Most people for a simple turbo upgrade are looking towards the gtx3582R but I guess it depends alot on the fuel and boost you want to run. As a reference I am getting 455 from a gtx on an fg running E85 and roughly 20psi.

  20. Not having a go so please don't take it that way. That just seems exceptionally low even for a hard dyno. You should definitely pump more boost into it though. The engine will love it.
  21. No need for forged internals with under 400. May need oil pump gears but there is a debate about that at the moment. Seems very low for 14psi as well. Let us know how it drives now.
  22. That is true, however when I had boost issues the actuator was changed to a 15 psi from a 12 and the exhaust was dropped. The old actuator was kept when the turbo was changed. The only significant difference was the turbo. Seems a strange coincidence. Will be interested to hear the outcome, keep us posted. PS Are you sure Nizpro is 3" hotside? Seems a bit excessive
  23. As I said in my post I'm not sure if true or not. All I know is that I couldn't really get boost past 12psi. Since then I have changed my turbo, put on a 4" catback and changed my 80 pound injectors for 1000cc ones with E85 and presto no problems with boost at all. I have heard of a couple having the same issues but I can't remember specifics.
  24. Considering the same tuner has now got me 455rwkw I'd say I'm doing ok lol. Makes sense if you ask me. Smaller FG turbo with 3" hotside, 2.5" coldside and a massive cooler is a big area to fill.
  25. I had a similar issue with mine. Tuner told me that the cooler and pipework are too big for the little turbo to fill. This may or may not be true I don't know. For reference I had Rapid V2 kit and xforce 4" dump on top of what you have. Does it start with 14 and then when the car starts using it fall off to 12?
