just wondering if anyone has some detailed pics of a front mount intercooler install of the plazmaman front mount intercooler kit... Just want to make sure I get it right before I hack into the front of new 70k terri with a jigsaw. p.s Yes I have all info from plazmaman but still not detailed enough.... any experiences you can share would be appreciated.....

sounds like my LHS cv is gone, Is the car still safe to drive until I can get to a hoist?? So is AADI still the preferred supplier?

Obviously hard to diagnose over the phone, however mal wood describes the symtoms as possible a broken CV. Need to get it on a hoist. Wish I had one.....

HI Guys, have a bf xr8 ute with 500rwhp. Last week I did a good flat out 1st - 2nd gear change and just as I went into second, the car started making a harsh vibration and sarted to diff steer toward the RHS. THe virbration is not really noticeable when cruising till about 60km/h but as soon as I up it again, I can hear it cleary. Any tips on here to start? Would I feel vibrations thru the floor from shagged diff bushes??

nice one.... did they say what boost they are running in it? I got a TTG that is about 13 days old & have de-bunged & K&N... You can feel the intake temps take over after a few hard runs....

Has anyone looked into or got this SCT FLASH PRO TUNERS $349.99USD .....obviously add more $$$$ for flasher but would the capa flash box work with this software?????

HEadSex - I don't normally participate much in these forums but do a lot of reading. This thread has been very enjpyable to read & I hope you continue to post your tuning ventures. Given that your not business motivated its appears to be completely as it happens..... very refreshing. I have just ordered advantage 3 to see if I can get my vortech bf xr8 moving. I hope its as easy to use as VCm suite... Anyway enjoying your stories and learning heaps...

HI I currently have a BA XR6T with 19" rims and the road noise is extremely loud and even with the standard 17"s on it was still very loud... I am curious to hear what people that have had owned BA & upgraded BF's think about cab noise levels. Even current BF2 owners with 19" are you happy with cab noise???? I am thinking of upgrading to BF2 but I am wary of excessive road noise as it drives me nuts as I spend 90% of driving on coarse bitumen highways........

Its an mk1 auto but it was mar 04 plated so I havent had any issues with it to date.. I dont understand why changing the cat or the intercooler will cause harm to the engine... even at full throttle I understand that these reduce restrictions in with the air flow system but I dont know how it would cause damge. I assume that it would be lean out condition. I thought as long as the turbo's boost was limited than I would have a problem with lean out???.... Is the typhoon style CAI a good one to use??

Can any of you give me any information on reputable edit tuners in brisbane?? I plan to drive down in mid June and get a custom edit. I also have sitting in a box at home new intercooler, 42Lb injectors, springs & high flow cat, 2nd CAI. I am currently running the CAPA 10psi edit generic tune.. Can anyone also reccomed when to fit what parts and should it be done in any order. I hope to fit them all and then drive 1000km to brissy to get a custom tune.. Apprecitate any input thanks......

Gents, From your experience will fitting 19inch mags effect the accuracy of the cars speedometer?? Any other issues I should no about before driving with them, other than stay on tarmac ??? Thanks

Can anyone confirm or deny if the boost is restricted to 4psi till the car has reached 4000km???
