Hey guys There is an xr6 sprint up for grabs in Victoria, all built and probably ready in 1 week once the dealer puts finishing touches on it. It is smoke colour and will be registered in the buyers name (so you will be first owner). $62000 is the total cost of the vehicle including all on roads. Not looking to make an extra cent on it just finding it little difficult to produce the finances but not willing to lose my deposit. So if anyone is interested please let me know and I can give some more details.

Hey guys, last night I was driving home about 8pm air was quite cold. I took off from a set of lights with a bit of a boot full nothing I havent done before with traction on.. Now it began to take off then traction made a big sound and the light lit (it didnt flicker like it usually does)..so wheels spun a liitle..soon as that loud thump hit I had no power and I quickly looked at the dash to see the revs hitting 6000RPM, although it did not sound or feel like it was hitting 6000RPM.. My question is could this have happened due to overboost maybe because of the cold air that night? I plugged my sct when I drove the car back home (but kept it off boost just in case, she drove normally) and it threw back a code which was P1000 (something about OBD MAF)? Can anyone shed some light on this issue? I am yet to drive the car since then but I thought id come here first.. Car is 07 bf mk2 315rwkw, cooler, injectors, full exhaust custom Tune.... I could highly recommend FWT.. My mate just had some fg coyote rims (replicas) put on his ba xr8 and he couldn't be happier with price or service.

Make sure they're efi clamps mate they hold on better than your standard clamps under pressure

I sort of get the feeling you've got a link in the hose mate. That's what happened to me. Or the clamps (efi) that you used to clamp the hose to the pump case has popped off. I used a lot of trial and error with the submersible pump until I got the hose perfect without kink.

I think he's a complete tool. How about let the buyer do the comparisons.

If your still under dealer warranty I probably won't muck around with anything serious cause they can be the hardest to deal with in the case something goes wrong when the car is nit moded let alone with modifications.

To be honest I dont see anything wrong with that pipe.. im running 315 rwkw with no restrictions coming from that pipe.. I think in the xr8's they fade and look quite ugly but in the bf's they're fine mate.. save your money and gradually get into the need for rwkw's...lol

A pic of your engine bay setup would help...although the pipe that connects the end of the CAI to the crossover is not the snorkel.. the snorkel is this... by the way the crinkled pipe that connects the air box to the crossover is good, so long as the stock crossover is in place.

The rims are actually nice on the car but yer would have stuck to black or white for sure. Also did you say 8 pot on the front??

Just to put your setup into perspective for you. Mick from Pitlane advised me to upgrade my typhoon cooler which I had on my xr6 even though I was only after 300rwkw. So 360. Boy your intake temps would be hot hot hot.

Mine was tuned at Pitlane. Mick has tuned many cars with these injectors. Although it doesn't really bother me at all. It's just once in the morning and then runs lovely.

I have the same problem mate. 80lb dekas and on cold mornings or basically cold start it can rumble until it warms up a tad. Otherwise runs perfectly. Just little heavy on fuel consumption.

Oh o was gonna suggest masters home improvement in Melbourne though. They have some decent safes at decent prices I'm also on the lookout for one.
