  1. Same concept, no ethernet cables. Wireless is realy only worth the effort for laptops or if you want to avoid cabling. Trent.
  2. One quick suggestion, as well as the encryption it is also an idea to filter by MAC address. In your wireless router/access point you should be able to configure it to talk to only specific devices - as every device has its own unique MAC address. At least then you will keep out nasties (no offence ZapXR6T) as it will only communicate with your defined list of allowed devices. Trent.
  3. hmmmm ... I'll check it out mate .... your missing all the best bits in the donating members' section too If that was for the raffle Matt then God (Chris) probably isn't aware of the individual contributors. Trent.

    Convince Me

unifex, try doing a search buddy, this topic has almost as many threads as the HgAy vs. "insert other colour here" topic. Trent.
  5. Valid point, I seem to get every tom, richard and harry driving an SS ute out to prove a point and cut me off wherever possible. Mackthknife: I usually try the sit back and take a breath tacktick first - but the relax part unfortunately doesn't last for too long at all! Trent.
  6. -jep, I was just trying to say be careful with these sort of programs as there is no such thing as a free lunch. Trent.
  7. Kind of like a scone, but with chocolate in it! Trent.

    Joke Of The Day

Particularly applicable to owners of the mighty "T" "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a beautiful and well preserved body; but rather an invitation to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming.. "Fu*k, what a trip that was!" Enjoy the Journey, we only do it once. Trent.
  9. Hmmm, not sure that's really helping the situation ... may make you feel better, and I know the urge is strong, but really, that's only making things worse, isn't it? Maybe, but hopefully it teaches them one of life's little lessons. Lucky I don't act out what I really feel like doing!!! Trent.
  10. - $37k for demonstrator - 3k on the clock - 6 months old - leather seats - heavy duty towpack (with aux electronic trailer brakes) - with a decent trade on the au - and not forgetting two log books (wtf) Trent.
  11. Me doesn't like the sound of that (major privacy concern) If anyone installed that on my network they would be out on the street before they had the oppurtunity to tap the first key or click the first mouse button. Make sure you check it out before installing! Trent.
  12. Yes, that little trick is in my repertoire as well. Works particularly well on multi lane roads with those who believe it is their god-given right to travel in the right-hand lane, regardless of if they are overtaking or not. Trent.
  13. Had a quick trip down to Burleigh yesterday for work (couple of hours cruising in the T with work paying for the juice - it was hard), and I was overwhelmed by the amount of idiots on the M1. With the amount of eratic driving going on I was actually glad to be back at my desk, it's like being in a rally championship keeping out of harms way. I think our great government needs to scrap the old "speed kills" campaign and replace it with "idiots kill" and throw a few resources at our driver training and licensing system. Trent.
  14. Yeh, got that same sound myself. But I actually thought it was Willy Mason snorting some Ridalin. (How great is the sound of the crowd with digital tv and 5.1) Trent.

    SOS

Ah, I can see your problem. The mongrels put an XE motor under the bonnet.
  16. Try turning your rear-vision mirror upside down! Trent.
  17. Ken, I would like to express my absolute disgust at your recent posts that seem to be keeping this thread on-topic. What's going on, are you ill, can I do anything to assist in your recovery? Trent.
  18. oh oh, no posts for 15 minutes - is that a record? Trent.
  19. No, not a lemon - just a few un-optional extras! And , enjoy your stay. Trent.
  20. BEER - pfffft... Cane Nectar all the way! Trent.

    Offer to Team HgAg

Just because the battles been fought before doesn't mean that we should loose the opportunity to sling a bit of poo at Kenty. And give him a chance of reaching 6000 before the night is out! Trent.

    Offer to Team HgAg

Guys, please help me out. Who is my leader: A) Oh great one that created this meeting place that allows us to pitty team HgAy B) He who lives on the Gold Coast and may have even painted his toe nails with Acid Rush paint. (no offence Ian) Anxiously awaiting clarification. Trent.

    Turbo Timers

In a T ????? Now that requires will power that I don't feel that I am capable of. By the time I manouvre down by b*tch of a driveway though it has a pretty good oppurtunity to cool. Trent

    Awesome fuel economy

Very interesting looking at the large variences on here... I usually get around the 14's in the city and 10 on the highway - and the only time I drive like grandpa is when it is cold or when stuck behind some moron. This is with only about 6k on the clock. I have noticed one thing though, there is quite a difference in economy between 105km/h and 115km/h, I think the best is around the 85 km/h mark (roadworks to thank for that discovery) Trent.
