  1. Took the ute out for a proper spin since fixing the clutch (melbourne weather). Felt great and super strong. Having tread issues now
  2. pcv goes to can, breather goes to can. can is baffled, has vent back to intake. . . set up correct. . .
  3. Spotted this 2 days ago. . .
  4. Rigged up an oil catch can
  5. Clutch issue is sorted. Replaced the master cylinder with a new one and pulled up the carpet so I could get a full stroke on it whilst bleeding. Happy as larry

I'm trying to compare the pair. In other words, do the two sheets share the same ordered marks at fixed intervals for a fair comparison. Can you overlay the two sheets onto one?

The scale of the 2 different sheets/graphs. That precision looks like it comes on better and sooner in the midrange

Hey Ratter those two graphs are slightly different, are the two print outs to the same scale? ahh never mind, that 6235 car has cams etc not really a fair comparison
  9. I've got the alloy one from one of mals kits, unsure if it has the billet piston. As Jet said, about $145 when I priced one up today or $250 with piston.
  10. hahahaha that'd be a pain! My old man pulled the box out, tag welded the arp flywheel bolts and had it back in within 4hrs all whilst on 2 car ramps! They don't make em like they used to haha On a semi related note, don't wanna put back in and out like you fellas all week. Can't see anything physically wrong with the slave so will replace master/slave and get a braided line in hopes of fixing my issues :/
  11. Just got mine out. Perseverance is what I needed in the end ha! Now to see if I have a problem to fix or if it was all for nothing :/
  12. I'm halfway through pulling mine out today! sheitty job. Cars on stands and ramps, still a pain in the back side, trying to separate the box from the bell housing is driving me nuts
  13. I had another crack at the clutch dramas today. Pulled apart the original master cylinder to find a bit of a surprise. Gunk and crap all through it and what looks to be corrosion on the arm part of the plunger. Cleaned it all up, rubber and O-rings still looked in great shape. Fitted it back up and bled. Initially the pedal felt great and changed gears very well but pedal feel then went out the door. Thinking there's still air in the system so I've cracked the res. cap for the night in hopes any air might travel to the top.
  14. Judging by the colour of the fluid each time it came out it looks as though the rubber hose from res. to firewall has been too hot and has been perishing on the inside. It's taken 6 months of high mount setup to go from ok to buggered Even with a new line, res. and master cylinder it's not right.
  15. I'm at a loss with the clutch issue. I've bled the system 6+ times now, replaced the reservoir and master cylinder. Initially works and after a couple of seconds I completely lose the clutch . . . I'll be pulling it out next week to check the slave. Any other ideas?
  16. I've picked up my solution to the t56 rollover noise yesterday. . .
  17. I purchased GUNFPV (Anth's) as a roller today. I have a few plans for it
  18. Bit more of an update. Initially after flushing it engages gears. Driving to the shops and back it deteriorates to the point where I need to reverse but can't shift into reverse unless I put my foot out of my door and push the car backwards to help engage it . . . It's come out of nowhere as well. I have another master cylinder on the way to try but if that doesn't fix it I'll replace the transmission altogether, over it.
  19. I've spent over $50k on mine and still going :/ lucky to get $20k for it I'd reckon
  20. I flushed the fluid an refilled, the old stuff was black and had sediment in ti :/ it feels better actually but still maintains the low pick up point :/
  21. Hi all, looking for some help. In the past week I've noticed the pedal feel on my clutch is different. The clutch starts to engage when the pedal is about 1-2mm off the ground! Changing gears I need to all but be pushing my foot through the floor as less then that amount of force and the gears are notchy/grind. Clutch fluid in the reservoir looks to be black instead of a greeny clear colour. I'm thinking I'll have to pull the gearbox out and check the master&slave cylinders? anyone had this issue?
  22. 470kw on id1000's with bp98, expecting 560+ on e85 with same injectors so I don't entirely agree with said statement
  23. It was quite good. A few wet spots from constant run off that made the back end slip out a bit. The road from the top to Healsville was still closed off which was a bummer but was good flying back down the hill. I'd be interested in a cruise up there if a few are interested
  24. I went for a drive up Mt Donna today, was so much fun, perfect day for it. spotted RIPHSV? yesterday heading south towards western freeway
