Totally agree with you paulie but for the sake of changing a fuel filter for $30 just in case is not too bad, it probably needs changing anyway! Im pretty sure it is something to do with the tranny so I'm thinking Vevapower is on the money.

Yeah it does flare in to fourth a little bit, never really thought much of it though.. Before I do anything I'm now gonna change the fuel filter only because the symptoms that you described nathos are exactly whats happening to mine but with my luck I doubt it'll be that easy of a fix.

Located in melb old_mate and tune was done by bluepower. Thanks Vevapower, I will look further into the friction plates in the morning.. Question is should I go back to bluepower and get them to suss it out or a transmisson joint?

Ive just had the transmission serviced and tuned and it still does it, ive also got a surge tank so I dont think its got to do with fuel as it also does it with a full tank... It happens more often in 'D' and 'Perf' mode but still happens in manual mode occassionaly mainly 3rd to 4th and under full acceleration. Its starting to do my head in lol. Noob question for you Vevapower, what are the frictions? =/ Thanks heaps for the advice guys. Cheers

I just ordered a pair of rear tyres, 17' 255 soft compound street radials on territory rims, so I'm hoping this eliminates the traction problem!! Should I still have the pressure at 25 psi Henz? @ rbjet, mate I'm just an ameture who drives like the car is stolen. You prob have a better chance than you think!! Im guessing manuel shifting is the way to go?? Lol like I said I'm an ameture!

6spd auto, feels like its slipping from 3rd to 4th though. traction is gonna be a problem I think. I just hope I don't break nothing.. lol

Mods are; 1000hp plazmaman ic kit, 4' dump to 3.5' full stainless xforce exhaust, 62pound injectors, wastegate/flapper mod, fuel pump and more boost. Id like high 11s and think the car is capable but like I said its all new to me. only time will tell.

Yeh I think it may be a bit humid but ill still be there! Honestly, I have no idea lol I've never dragged any car before so its all new to me. the car has 330rwkw so I'm hoping for a 12. How about you??
