  1. hi guys I'm looking at some lesno D1Rs, there 18x10 +22 I have a 04 ba series 1 ute what I'm wanting to know is: -will they fit over my brembros (4 spot front, premium rears) -how will I go with a 10" wide rim on the front, my ute is pretty low. even if I had to run stretched tyres? (not holding my hopes very high on this one) thanks guys mitch
  2. Was a top night guys, was my first cruise with the xr6t boys an I was very impressed Just need a bit more poke to keep up with some of you lol thanks alot guys mitch
  3. count me in guys where we heading after we're on the eastern, or did I miss something
  4. got the same prob from 3-4 grand its like its breaking down as said above plugs fixed it for a week or 2 but now it comes and goes I thought of gaping the plugs down but it hasn't been boosted or anything so I didn't think thaw necessary normally should I look at a set of coil packs first??? I dont have the low speed issue
  5. I like the look of that really neat
  6. alright kool I'll keep that in mind when time comes to get it done
  7. duno really haven't planed it lol but I would say that I would probly start chasing more power before the mild steel one would rust away in which case I might wana change to a custom one then again I'm probly just being a tight ass I should probly just save my pennies and go stainless is there any noticeable difference in the note put out by a stainless system compared to the mild steel? thanks guys
  8. if your not chasing big power is there any point using a cooler that goes right up the top? I'm probly just being a neat freak but I dont really like how you can see the cooler poking up in behind the grille I'm thinking 280-330 will do me fine
  9. thanks for the replies guys any point going stainless over mild steel???
  10. at to moment its just stock but I would like to collect all the parts I need and do everything at once not really sure how far I'm going at the moment I defently wouldn't be going past 350kw what would be a good exhaust to get me to 280-330kw atw with supporting mods duno if it makes a difference but I got an 04 series 1 ba ute, manual thanks guys
  11. Gday guys just got a couple of questions about whats the best path to take when it comes time to get a new exhaust what would be the best way for me to go custom or of the shelf system? mild steel or stainless? I have heard stainless can be a bit tiny sounding I dont mind going mild steel to overcome this even if it wont last quite as long 3, 3.5 or 4 inch I want a single system not the twin 2.5 just not sure on what to go with just trying to gather information at this stage guys I did have a search but if any of this has been covered it would be awesome if someone could point me in the right direction thanks guys mitch
  12. hey guys just a couple of questions when it comes time to do some things to my ute I want to go with the process west battery relocation and the pod with the cover over it but for the cooler I would really like to have one that fills the whole hole in the bottom of the front bar, as in so you can see minimal/no end tanks I was thinking of something similar to a hdi one but perhaps a little taller is there any kit out there that would suit this? can I buy a cooler that isnt necessarily made for an xr6t but would fit behind the front bar? is it hard to do your own piping? it doesnt seem hard just take the shortest path with the smoothest bends and dont have it rubbing on the body everywhere seems easy in principal lol thanks guys mitch
  13. thanks heaps guys I'll try an pick up one of the newer stronger ones
  14. hey guys went to pop my bonnet the other day and the leaver broke when I had a good look at it I found the cable had come out of the plastic leaver after getting it back in and it coming out again a couple of times it broke anyone ever had this problem ??? how hard are they to replace??? guna call ford tomoro see if I can get one p.s car is an 04 ba series one ute thanks guys mitch
