  1. Thanks shifty. that's the sort of feed back that guys contemplating mods need. There are quite a few guys with idling and stalling issues. If the edit rectifies these it could be the answer to there problems. The edit benefits could be a 2 or 3 step process I feel. Sorting engine issues such as these will probably happen straight away, as will changing some parameters to suit individual mods and preferences. I also think that the initial tunes be they custom or generic will not be the best we see from the edit. I think that as tuners tune more cars and learn from each one that the edit cars will get quicker and more powerful. I hope so any way. HPF have it and I've told Rob that if he gives me another 30-40rwkw's and an extra 500rpm, that on a cold winters night I'll go very close to running 10's on street tyres. Geea. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I got 20extra kw and 500 extra rpm
  2. Martin they are some nice numbers. But I think to give everyone a true indication of the edit they need to be put in context. Before I go any further remember that I like the edit and will probably have HPF (my tuner), install it in my car sometime in the future. Boost6 has only gained 0.03 of a second and no rwkw's. When my old car had the same mods as shifty with the addition of no centre muffler it ran 12.8@112. with the same mods and the cat made more free flowing it got to as low as 12.2@116 I think. I'm in noway putting down Boost6 or Shifty. I think they have done fantastically and I applaud them for being at the forefront of the edit development and making the path easier for those that will follow. These 2 examples wouldn't be encouraging people too much. I was impressed with Bruce gaining 6mph. That is a big gain. I think the launch control may need alittle refining though. While I agree that the edit is a fine product it still has a long way to go development wise. 12 months down the track I believe that we will be seeing some great numbers and times but at this stage the results are only average. When tuners have had alot more hours actually tuning cars I think we will see times fall a great deal. I'll repeat that I'm not critising or putting anything down just putting things in perspective. Geea. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No probs Geea its just that the car is much better to drive, smooth idle and no stalling

  8. I went for a drive in bruces badxr6 car the other day then I saw it make around 390 rwkw on the dyno all I can say is clean crisp smooth power every time, not like my piggyback that has a mind of its own. I will be making the change to the edit very soon, but either way if u have a sh*t tunner u are up sh*t creek without a paddle.
