  4. you are right , long day at work jimmy and I can have a vertual hand shake and live with the knowledge that we live in the coolest part of australia with the best tunners ..... just kidding I ment ladies
  5. mate I will wait for the new ute to arrive and give it a go , and jimmy isnt a real worry , but thanks for that , but im also from sydney and were not all weird some of us a very normal and love our cars as much as you canadians (QLD)
  6. thanks for the considered response , the only drama that I can see is the position of top radiator hose and that can be sorted out in no time . and the length in the section from the top factory pipe at the rear of the motor, my ute wont be a daily driver so I can keep it off the road for experimenting... to much time I guess
  7. well thanks for that mate , missed the point , and I was trying to sugest to people what might be a good idea, but I guess that you must be the guy who welcomes the new members , and makes them feel like they want to contribute more and more .

hi guys fpvkev here , have f6 ute on the way and this is the first forum that I have been into , at least I wont have to hide this on from my wife . ha .ha, but I have a couple of post out there so feel free to sat hello and I will be glad to chat back , what is the best time that all the boys are on line , talk soon
  9. hi guys went to the motor show today , could of had more fun flea powdering my dog but any way 2 good things to come out of it was 1 how boaring the new v8 ute will look , and 2 the good possability of how the new v8 air intake system looks like it will fit the f6 or xr6t with some small mods no doubt , has any one else thought of this yet or am I a visionary with to much spare time , get rid of the sh*tty paper filter for a good old k and n and a small alloy scoop under the entry of the set up inside the front top radiator grill and it will look great and it will be legal . so give me some feed back and has any one done it or have some pictures of any thing similar all the best fpvkev
  10. thanks for that I have been talking to a friend of mine who builds and looks after race cars of all types and races and he has just told me that he has followed many a leaf sprung car around the track and he can make it work, I will look at nizpro and see if the kits are avaliable to buy ands self install and a good tuner in sydney , is then my next drama . im on the northern beaches of sydney and the boys at evolution motorsport are the best if seen in regards to fab work but as far as tuning the f6 I would want a pro. are cv as good as people say or does any one know of any one on the beaches , but thanks for thr reply , it was my first ever forum , so that was fun .
  11. hi guys long time looker first time asker , just ordered my new silver f6 ute with all the boxes ticked . it will be a toy and as im a builder and need the tax right off so I want to join the 400kw club straight up and want all the goodies ,realise warantees will be usless but power comes at a cost so far be for me to insult the gods of speed with a warasntee repair ... ha ha ha im very handy with the tools but fords are new to me and so is the xr6t sceen but all you guys seem to be pretty level headed and from what I have read pretty good with the advise , one of my main concerns is the rear end as I wish to take it to the track for fun time to time , not really into the drags , the road like the ladies must have curves , what can I do . I was even cosidering a 4 link set up but people say to much, we should be able to make it work , but I dont want , should , I want we can so any advice would be great well, I will wait to hear from you boys anmd look foward to the talks and pissing contests.
  12. hi guys this is my first post on this site I have just purchased an fg f6 ute with all the boxes ticked and I am a builder and have just finished my house so the wife let me get the ute , I have a hoist in the new garage so I can do alot of the work myself being quite handy around the cars so to speak, and most things I have noticed are avaliable in kit form and the xr6t has a pretty standard format for proformance mods , my budget is about $10,000 for mods now , so what to do and who has done it to the fg f6 and I can save a lot on labor so give me some advice people
