In my opinion the BA is a better looking car.... but you can do a lot more with the FG driveline. You could always find a FG driveline and thow it into the BA.....

Sweet write up bentles..... .... when I did my conversion I tossed up splicing the front fusebox wiring loom from my BA GHIA, but ended up buying one off a turbo cause I wasn't able to source some of the broken wiring plugs that came with the engine package I got.

I'm at the same point regarding keeping my mild steel 2x2.5 and modifying the mufflers or going for a full stainless 2x2.5 system from xforce I did notice they are offereing a 2x3inch inlet and oulet (or 2x2.5 outlet) varex muffler which could be a great start for designing a new system
