  1. Yep it was first thing I checked. Will try the battery now and see what happens
  2. Just been through the sync book and the vehicle book-can't find a code for the sync system. Does it have or require a code? Anyone?
  3. Thanks will I try disconnecting the battery and see if that fixes it. And yes tuned with Xcal 4. Not sure if the stereo has a code though. I will consult the book.
  4. Hi thanks -yep first thing I checked. When I slide the fade to the right side I get nothing - no sound. When I move it to the centre or left -sound from left is ok, but still nothing from the right.
  5. Just had my car flashed tuned and very happy with the result. However, since the tune the stereo no longer works correctly. Don't know if it is related or coincidence. The stereo is only working on the left front and rear channels. My concern is if I take it to ford and they say they need to Update the ICC or something similar, will that effect my custom tune? The car is a 2015 FGX Turbo with sync 2. Any help greatly appreciated.
  6. Mods done: F6 injectors Venom HiFlow cat pipe Process West stage 1 intercooler K&N panel filter
  7. Just got my car back from Monsta Torque today-very happy with the result. It ran up at 236rwkW stock and then 308rwkW after some skillful tuning. I'm pretty impressed for a 12psi tune.
  8. So I have finally decided on a Tuner- Monster Torque. I spoke to Rob from MT- seems a nice guy, happy to chat and discuss options. I am looking at 1000cc injectors, a Process West intercooler kit, a throttle body replacement elbow and a hi flow cat. He said it should produce somewhere around 300-315 rwkW. My only concern is the hi flow cat and extra noise. Can anyone that has had a hi flow cat installed tell me what the difference in sound is compared to the stock cat. The car is very quiet at the moment and I would like to keep it that way.
  9. Thanks - I know modding is always a risk- just want to try to minimise it a little. The package I'm am considering: 1000 ID injectors Cooler thermostat K&N panel filter Custom tune Possibly intercooler and Cat- got to see how far the dollar stretches. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I thought it prudent to identify the stage. That way you know what sort of power level I am talking about. Also the package I am looking at is listed a stage 1. Not considering E85. Yes oil pump-original question.
  11. Just thought I'd ask so when I have the car tuned- ( stage 1), I thought it may be worth getting the pump upgraded at the same time. I have heard that the pump can be prone to failure. Only problem is the coin is running out fast. Need to prioritise. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I thought it was a lot more than $400 + $400 to have the gears upgraded. From what I have read looks closer to $2k, with the majority of the cost in labour. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. At what power level would you recommend upgrading the oil pump gears? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Oops there it is Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I thought I posted a pic of my car the other day- but doesn't seem to show. Don't want to double post. Any idea what may have gone wrong?
  16. Just after a quick wash this morning. This is about a week after the new suspension.
  17. I'm sure we could sort something out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Lowest setting on the shock. No charge for the adjustment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Yeh been wondering about that. It came out of the shop with perfect numbers, 355 front and 350 rear but has settle a bit since - about 5 mm at the front. The rear remains unchanged. I will continue to watch it and see if it drops any more. The suspension shop have been excellent and said if I need it raised to just give them a call and get it in to them and they will sort it out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Well finally bit the bullet and had the suspension done. Ended up going very conservative. KFFL-40SL front and KFRL-68SSL rear all on Bilstein shocks. Also had Poly Air assist air bags installed in the rear. My new HTG 350 front and 350 rear. When I can get my arse of the couch I will take a photo and post it. The front is a touch low for me - I was aiming for 355 front and 350 rear. I will see how it goes for a while and if I have too many dramas with scraping the front I will get the shocks adjusted up 1 clip -about 8-10mm. Saying that- I have already had several issues with some rather large speed bumps and kerbs. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Sorry guys- I won't be able to make it this time round. I will be at the Cockburn Classic Basketball tournament all weekend with my daughter. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks- I also love to take the piss- just didn't want to intrude. Cheers. So- any word on the date and location? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Nice welcome - I was told to check out the thread. As I haven't attended any of your previous maintenance days- I did not want to appear as I was trying to crash your event. I have been looking at lowering my car and wanted to see some, take some measurements and talk to people in the know. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Hi I was invited to check out this thread- have you guys decided on a day and a location. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks- when and where is the next maintenance day? I am heavily involved in my daughter's basketball on the weekends but depending on date and location I may be able to swing by. Would be great to see some different setups. Thanks for the offer. Cheers Mike Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
