  5. Im in need of help from the collective knowledge of the forum. In about the last 2 weeks my car has developed a problem on boost, when on the throttle my boost gauge will move from -20 vac to +1 boost as it always has but will stop on 1 for a few seconds then jump straight to 5/6psi, the car doesn't seem to have the pull it used to so I think I believe the gauge I have tried to clean the boost solenoid and have checked all hoses for leaks but I can't find anything that affects it. Car is stock except for f6 intake, f6 cooler and a bov Anyone have any ideas cause I'm stumped, my only thought is my knock off dual port bov might not be holding boost

  7. Ive done this myself, I wired up my parkers and angel eyes with insulated spade connectors so if I need to I can remove them or switch back to parker globes easily
  8. The inverters/transformers/ballasts/whatever else the manufacturers call them are usually 12v DC input about 900-1000v AC output. I think I've got a spare one in the garage still from when I Bought a pair last time one blew. Its from the same place as the ebay ones that have lasted 6 months. PM me if you don't have any luck finding one, Ill be Happy to help out another member
  9. I had the same problem with mine, Blew 2 inverters in about 3 months bought some from this ebayer http://stores.ebay.com.au/UK-STYLINGS they have singles or pairs for sale they have been going ever since (about 6 months) with no issues what so ever I changed the mounting of mine with the new ones as well, Just used a cable tie through one of the holes in the rad support above the headlight to hold it up and get some more air around it. And I can't tell you the voltage but I know it f*cking hurts! I accidentally touched the two pins on an output connector and had a nasty shock and two small burn marks to go with it... Lesson learnt that day

  11. After the drive to work today the problem is solved! And the front end feels much sharper thanks to the new bushes up front too Louiseanddanny if the pushrod your talking about is in the brake booster Ford adjusted that for me when changing the calipers. Apparently they have seen it a few times and it seems to hold on the front left and rear right brakes slightly while driving... With the ABS sensors I'll check them out as a precaution so the shake doesnt come back (just incase...) I actually enjoyed driving my T today for the first time in a while instead of just searching for solutions to issues Heres hoping it continues. Thanks to everyone for there suggestions and help with this! Now if anyone else has this problem I'll be able to help lol
  12. Just an update on my progress in finding the source of my vibrations So far I have done: 1. Wheel balance 2. Repair buckled wheel 3. Replace front control arm bushes - Thanks to Pat 4. Wheel alignment - Thanks to Pat again 5. Replace front calipers and brake fluid (front left was not releasing properly) 6. Disc machine (Glazed and warped due to siezed caliper) I just picked the car up after replacing the brakes so I will find out tomorrow if that has fixed the last of the vibration at highway speeds Next is to replace the leaking shocks when I can afford to put in the good stuff. Special Mention to Wholesale suspension. Best wheel alignment and customer service Ive had from a workshop!
  13. put me down as a maybe, I might make a last minute decision to come and I live about 30 seconds away from the meet point
  14. An update for my progress so far. F1 was right the balance was out on all 4 wheels but that wasnt all... they also found 2 buckled rims!!!! So after swapping the worst rim to the spare and driving to work newly balanced there is still a shake but now its changed, It has changed from a whole car vibration to just a slight vibration through the seats But still the steering wheel shake is the same.... So the plan is: 1. Wheel balance 2. Repair buckled wheel (this weekend) 3. Wheel alignment again 4. Disc machine 5. Tailshaft balance 6. Replace front suspension bushes 7. Replace shocks 8. Auto extension housing bush 9. Sell the f*cking car! Ill work my way through this list until I get this figured out
  15. Thanks Mika good to know roughly what I could be up for, I think I might have to go pay Pat a visit he isnt too far from me I picked up the wheels for $1900 for all 5 with still new factory rubber on ebay (It was a very lucky find considering I was desperate for new tyres and the price was great). The guy I bought them off had replaced them with Hiros to clear the Brembos he had put on Pazzo that's an interesting pickup those painted FG XR 19s are identical to the XR50 19s just without the machined edges... and I'm paranoid about scraping those edges
