  1. Hi there, have noticed that when in Drive it often will not find 5th, never 6th. You have to manually put it into 6th. Sometimes when you put your foot down in Drive (say 100kph) it will chop down to 4th and wont change from 4th. Any ideas?
  2. Great stuff, thanks heaps
  3. Set to auto it is very hit and miss. I just went out and had it on auto then pushed in the stalk towards the steering wheel and the lights flicked off and on. This didnt happen when I tried the same thing with the lights manually on so I think you maybe correct, thanks. Does that tend to be a fix or a replacement of stalk?
  4. Hi there, my '06' BF has recently every now and then turned off the lights when driving along with all lights on (main and spot lights). Only for a split second then back on. You can hear a 'click' like if you have it on 'Auto' lights and they are turning off or on. Last time this happened I turned the stalk to 'Auto' and that worked then the lights went off all together (very handy when it is dark), so turned it back to 'On' and it went back to infrequently off/on. The dash lights disappear as if you had turned them off then back on again. Any suggestions? thanks
  5. Would be keen on that. I will be in Palmy evening of the Wednesday after Easter and the Thursday till about lunch time. Give me you contact number and I will make contact on the Wednesday if that suits.
  6. Thanks for this and to everyone else. Good food for thought.
  7. Hi there and thanks. It is an auto and was thinking around that $1000 for my first mod. I do a lot of highway driving, does that change anything?
  8. Hi there, 2006 BF. Have read several forums and spoken to people. Of course you get a million different suggestions and I dont expect anything different here. My knowledge is basic and funds limited. Thought the flash tuner would be the best bet but a Ford technician said often they make the car run very lean (to get the power) and that causes a big build up of heat and potential damage. So after you have down loaded the tune do you have to do anything else or is it all done? Quite expensive and hard to come by here in NZ but seems to be the best bang for your buck?
