  1. Great work guys this is a wealth of information, A really good starting point thankyou regards, John
  2. Guys, have many of you with BA xr6t autos, had failure of the transmission cooler side of the radiator, is it best to replace radiator with genuine ford radiator ? I would like to keep original looking. or fit transmissinion cooler on the existing radiator ? Do they look any good fitted up, or does it look like a real add on? What sort of fittment problems would I encounter if I went the aftermarket route ? opinions on both fittings if you could guys thankyou, regards
  3. Interesting, so pete you can get nearly a month with the car just sitting, with no alternator or battery charger topup. What capacity battery do you have in your car ? Another point I would be interested to know,is, does the ni-cads in the siren top up with the key off ? (luvxr6t must have leakage in the system somewhere.) thankyou fullboost
  4. robbie,I worked out how your problem started, open, close, open, close you couldn't keep your eyes off that beautiful engine. Leave it alone, keep it shut and just drive it
  5. Hey, Just an interesting footnote about the failure of the BA fuse block assembly, the RACQ recommended that owners of these vehicles operate the bonnet pull themselves at break down sites. Also most important dont pull the bonnet release from outside the car where by it can put side pressure on the plastic mounting tabs in the fuse block assembly and subsequently cause its failure. Always sit in the car and operate bonnet release square on. fullboost
  6. Hey, I think there is plastic clips with a centre pin you push in from memory
