  2. Thankyou Guys, It is external paint finish, I will try sanding and apply some wrinkly finish VHT Paint, if that fails I'll look to the wreckers for a better example. thankyou again
  3. Guys, Please give me some idea about repainting the cross over, large areas of paint has peeled off.Does it come up satisfactory ? What type of paint would I use? Is it a better proposition to buy new ? regards robbiefisher

  5. Guys, thankyou for all your input, I'll do a search and see if it comes up with anything. I dont want to glue it in, I like the idea of getting the part first then I can make my own arrangements with the fitting with an auto elect I'll study its position and see if I can make it a little project for the Dremmel. regards,robbiefisher
  6. Thankyou, that's the sort of news I didn't want to hear, it looks like an auto elect. is going to have to be involved in this repair. If I go to Fords they will welcome me with open arms and empty mi wallet. robbiefisher
  7. Guys, I have been unable to get the bonnet pull assembly to locate into this fuse panel.It just falls out What breaks in this assembly? The locating cutout is in the lower right side. thankyou, robbiefisher

  9. Guys, please tell me how and or tools required to remove the large plasic finishing panel that sits inside the boot across and under the lock area of the BA. regards, robbiefisher
