WTF does that mean... Maybe cost got out of control, but I cant see how. Using the same wheels is stupid, it dates them already (in fact they have gone further back to use BF I wheels) Also doing a refresh on the colours might not have been a bad idea either, the F6 example doesnt look much different to a BF in Bionic with 19s. Some things have been done well but its like other things they just havent thought of...or cut corners on. At least it probably wont devalue my BF as much as I thought it would

Yeah I'm not really talking about me personally, more for the creator of the thread. Not long after I bought my Typhoon I knew someone else that went to a dealer and was black listed. The reason they were is they had obvious modifications done to it (exhaust, BOV, etc) so the dealer said no more warranty for you. My Typhoon is modified to the hilt and I take it to the same dealer I bought it from who has no problems with the mods I have and even encourage it (purchase modifications through them). They have said to me that they will cover the car under warranty unless something occurs that is a direct result of the modifications (ie rod out the side of the block...hahaha). So for me its not an issue

What are they like with mods? I thought I heard of someone getting black listed after taking their car back their with mods fitted. I could be wrong though and it could have been another dealer.

What surge tank are you going for mate? I'm still deciding. Nice times by the way, get yourself some ET Drag Radials and you should go well into the 11s with a good fuel setup. -
Gary Myers was on the way to the burnout pad and blipped the wheels a little. Security stopped him and pulled his entrant sticker off and told him to piss off, Gary turned around and said come on I'm on the way to the burnout pad now. When Gary asked what was he doing, Security told him I've been told to do it, Gary apparently turned around and said well if you do that then your a wa*ker. Security took a step back put the fist through the window (I assume it was down) and clocked him then laid into the drivers door with his foot, was a newly restored XA apparently.

I have the Siemens 60lb injectors in my car running 330rwkw. that's a good price but I got mine brand new for that from memory. They wont be too big if you are running 300rwkw....go the 60lb over the 42lb, that way if you chuck more power later the 60lb will still be ample where as the 42lb injectors might run out of puff....better to have too much injector and tune it back than not enough.

Like I said, you wont have any problems with them and you can choose a size to fit over your brakes

You shouldnt have any issues with these tyres as long as you warm them up, plenty of people have used them in "fast" cars without issues. I ran a 132mph with them and they were perfect. If you are only launching at 2000rpm you wont get wheel spin.

As mentioned, go for the MT Street Radial. They will give you plenty of grip and still allow you to run your street tyres on the front. They come in various sizes and widths...check them out here http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/strip.p...=ETStreetRadial

The single turbo ls1 kit that I had is ADR approved, however my car wasnt for a number of reasons, namly some modifications done to my car outside of the kit.The twin turbo kit is currently going through ADR compliance.

I know it's far from the performance side, but has anyone had a good look at the interior or sit in the VE? A guy at work bought an SV6 and it has 1992 Camry seats in it. Flat as anything and no bolstering. I don't know why Expensive Daewoo do that to their customers. Sh!t! ← Yeah I have had a close look at one and they arent too bad at all quality wise, much better than previous models.....however in saying that, we shouldnt get too carried away after all they are still locally made same as the Ford.I know what you mean about the SV6 seats, I have heard other people mention that they have been downgraded from what they were in previous models.

Yes I did my Single Turbo LS1 for less than 15 grand...much less. Made 417rwkw too TT Kits are being done for less than $10k drive in and drive out now. As for clutch, etc......you have to do that as soon as you tune it anyway coz they are so bad.....hang on so are the standard XR6T clutches

Twin Turbo kits are the way to go for the Holdens be it VT or VE......and at around $7k its a pretty low price to pay for over 400rwkw. There is no replacement for displacement AND BOOST

You guys are living in your own world.Do you think that every Expensive Daewoo owner drives around in an unmodified car?? There are plenty out there that would make a XR6T or Typhoon look very average....I have driven some of them. As for negative feedback on the VE....have you driven one or did you read it on the internet, if its the latter then it must be true...hahaha. I know people that have gone from Expensive Daewoo to Ford and vice versa, that isnt to say one is better than the other. The good thing about the Typhoon especially is bang for buck....you can spend little money on mods and make relatively decent power. So I wouldnt get your hopes up that every Expensive Daewoo you run you are going to waste

As a new Phoon owner and a moderator on ls1.com.au most people on there have respect for all cars just like here, however like every forum there are often those that walk around with only one eye open and cant see past the badge on the front of the car The Expensive Daewoo brigade are hoping for big things from the VE and from what I have seen so far they will probably get it, its a good package.

Make sure you use a decent amount of lubricant on the injector "o" rings (vaseline works a treat)....dont try and fit them dry as you will most likely split the "o" rings which will spell trouble when you start it up the first time

Its actually not CAPAs kit.....see the LS1 Turbo Website. You can run 12psi on a dead standard LS1 engine aside from valve springs with the single turbo kit, the twin kit doesnt require the same amount of boost to achieve the same power as the single but will run the same boost easily on a standard engine There have been plenty of cars with the single turbo kit that have run 10 second quarters.....the twin kit should be no different. It ran low 11s on a One Tonner at Heathcote at the LS1 Drag Nationals with a convertor issue so its promising

that's kool, was just asking the question as I have seen they make them. Want to do the same thing myself and am looking at what options are available as I dont have a technical knowledge that extends into that area to complete it myself
