Im returning my BA XR6 turbo back to stock as and im removing my HDI cooler and UBI and putting the stock piping, cooler and intake back in and ill be flashing the car to stock tune. Im just gonna leave my exhaust on but its only a catback so should be fine with stock tune. Id just like to know from anyone out there whos done this if there is any tips to check and be careful of when doing this process, ive been sure to clean out all pipes, cooler and crossover with the air compressor but if there is anything else anyone can recommend id appreciate the help

Ive been looking at gearbox options for my BA XR6T as im currently running a T5 which is rubbish. Ive come across a quiet reasonably priced TR-3650 and have been doing abit of reading and it appears they arent much weaker than a T56 and obviously alot stronger than my current T5, is this true or am I way off the mark here? Also will the bellhousing off a T5 bolt up to a TR-3650 and im fairly sure I read something about the input spline being shorter on these gearboxes? Lastly is the cross member for this gearbox the same as T5? Anyone with an Xr8 and this gearbox running big numbers opinion would be awesome otherwise any help appreciated

I was wondering how much offset is pushing it to far on a falcon? For example would 19x9 with +26 offset be to much pressure on the fronts? Or as long as the hub fitting is right so wheel studs aren't taking load and the correct seating wheel nuts are used should there be no problems?

BA55Y replied to bloosted's topic in Suspension and Handling
when I was in pedders the other day getting some info on the XA's the guy showed me for the b series falcons are 12kg as supplied but you could request ne where from 8-12kg with your preference in height. Maybe the FG's are different? -
Had The Pedders Exreme A Coilovers Fitted To My Fg
BA55Y replied to bloosted's topic in Suspension and Handling
Im looking at getting these in my BA XR6T very soon aswell, and I have also heard that when people start seeing drama is when they try and run them on the lowest setting for extended periods of time Has anyone gone coilovers then swaybars? Im curious if after installing coilovers with the improvement they allow you to see will the swaybars still make a big difference? -
Wondering if anyone has been daring enough yet to try flaring the guards out heavily or at all on a b series falcon? Would be cool for totally different look. What flared guard would you guys use to chop and weld? e.g off which car would you get them to work on a b series falcon do you reckon?

BA55Y replied to mattxr6tute's topic in General Tech
does anyone know what the TR-3650's that came in the ba xr8's were capable of holding? Are they even able to reliably hold much more power than the t5's in the xr6t's? -

thanks for the replys and the help guys. ive done abit more researching and they are an dc inverter. If you are looking for replacements just go to ebay and type in angel eyes inverter and theres quiet a few being sold on there for round the $20 mark or less. im just annoyed im gonna have to wait a month for them to either come from china or usa but ahwell im gonna get a few so next time one decides to pack it up I wont have this waiting time. thanks again for the help
-
I dont think youll need to make them up yourself or anything like that mate. I just need to know what type of a tranny it is so I can source some replacements Yeh mine was turbo side aswell, pretty annoying its only lasted a month, when I get a replacement im gonna have to look into a more ideal location to place the unit if its only lasted that long.

Can someone tell me specs on the transformers that come in the kit with the angel eyes as amazingly after only 1 month one of my transformers has managed to pack up and die. so im looking to replace it asap Also if someone knows the wattage of the rings would be handy

I'm looking at getting the twin xforce 2.5" quad tip catback exhaust for my 04 BA xr6 turbo. I know I'm not gonna any sort of power gains from just doing the catback but I want it so my car atleast has a decent note till I decide to do the high flow cat. My biggest concern though is that the twin xforce 2.5 quad tip catback is not gonna be much louder than the stock exhaust. I'm not after ridiculously loud so I'll constantly get EPA'd but I do want louder deeper note or it's pointless getting the exhaust. Can anyone help me with info on this?
