  1. Very interesting read... Anymore news on this, Cranny?
  2. Just another question. How often should you service these cars? I currantly get my ute serviced every 10,000k but it's not really on the same page as the turbo Fords
  3. Appreciate the info. My cousin has a BF XR6T sedan with around 350 at the wheels so I'll have to try and get a passenger ride in that one day. Thanks again
  4. Cheers for the replies. I've seen some have issue's with lowering FG utes? Is this the same with the B series utes? I know the ZF is a a great thing but I'm not really that keen to get an auto, I've just always been into manual's. I feel I have more control than in an auto. 300 - 330rwkw, would you say it's reliable?
  5. Hey fella's. I have been around your forum for a while, seen you out on a few cruise's too. I own two Holdens - a long term project is a 1964 EH Prem sedan and a VZ SS LS1 ute for daily duties, so please be nice I admire all makes of cars and not biased towards anything inparticular. I'm looking to upgrade in the next few months or so and I don't really want another V8, or a Commonwhore for that matter. Everyone seems to have V8's and I'm kinda tired of them, nothing really unique, done to death and I never seen any nice F6 utes on the road. Time for something different. Just want to know the cons only of the FPV F6 T56 manual utes. Don't worry I know there are plenty of pro's Mainly the weak points through the driveline, issue's with lowering/suspension mods and clutch issue's? Mods I would only plan on doing would be quite basic to most (cooler, exhaust and tune). Would something in that case be relatively reliable and safe from going "bang"? What alternatives are there for head units as I notice the headunits in the Falcons are fixed to the whole console..? Cheers
  6. Looking mighty fine there Jimmy, doin a good job! I can't wait to start my old school build now, seems more people are taking up the challenge. I'll have to pop down in a couple of weeks and check it out in the metal! Might have to get the old man to come along too Jarrad.
