  1. Cool, thanks for the reply. Is the flutter sound from removing the BOV or the CAI?
  2. Hi all great forum, everyone was helpful when I posted early last year about a good price for a new XR6T. So one year after buying one I am starting to think about some basic mods before possibly getting a tune some time down the track. I was thinking: 1. Blue Power Racing Cold Air Intake; and 2. Herrods or Plazmaman replacement piping So is the Blue Powere Racing CAI worth the money or is it better to just do the replacement XR8 snorkel and lower airbox? Would I need a tune if putting in the CAI. I don't know much about this sort of thing so any help would be appreciated. I am not looking for massive power gains just want it to breath a bit better and sound a bit tougher? I will be using Aikenvale Auto & Dyno in Townsville if I go down this path, so any comments on these guys would be good as well. I will speak to them as well I just wanted to get some comments from the forum first. Cheers
  3. Thanks for the responses. I'll keep negotiating on the price and post some pic's once I get it. Cheers
  4. Hi been reading a heap of post on this site and have found it really helpful. I have taken one for a test drive and loved it. So I have decided to get a 2010 xr6 turbo and have done a call around to a number of dealers in my area and they all seem to be giving me a similar price. I live near Townsville. I have got the dealer in Townsville to a price of $54,000 with the following options: tech pack premium audio headlight protectors xr mats tinting scuff plates Just wondering if this seems reasonable to you? I am trading in my subaru forester which they have given a trade in of $8,500.
