The car is denfinetly over posting well according to the boost gauge it is anyway. I will check the intercooler hoses over the weekend and see if I can find a split....although I don't see how this would make it boost more than it should. That's into the waste gate directly. I rang ford today and asked for an actuator got quoted 52 but he called it a turbo solenoid so I'm thinking he has no idea and quote me for the boost solenoid as opposed to the actuator Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

OK so I assume that because air can be blown continuously through the waste gate house into the diaphragm without building any pressure that the diaphragm is split. Checked the hoses and they are fine Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Manifold leaks all piping plugs coils fuel filter air filter boost solenoid. That's about all I could come with to check Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Car has over posting issued and what sounds like a significant air leak from that side of the engine bay. Pretty much everything else has been checked Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Well the waste gate actuator has packed up on our car so it obviously needs replaving. The car is stock basicly no tune etc can it be replaced with an aftermarket one or will another stock 5 psi one have to go in Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

They have been in the car for over twelve months though and this issue has only come about 2 months ago. But maybe I could get a new factory set and give it a shot Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

That sort of thing did cross my mind up according to the boost gauge it is over boosting hitting upward of 8psiplugs are about 500kms old and weapon x coils about the same. What's the next thing to test...waste gate actuator perhaps? Could the boost control solenoid be buggered?. The car is essentially stock tune wise all is has is as inductions intake k n n filter and the coils Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Hey guys, a couple of months ago the clutch slave let go and we had a new clutch and flywheel fitted at the same time, and ever since we have got it back it has been very difficult to get into gear, especially when selecting reverse, at first I thought the clutch pedal might need adjusting buut since they are self adjusting I'm guess that cant be it. Also since we have had it back there is a bit of a whining noise in 4th gear, which doesn't sound at all good to me. We had Transmax Z fluid in it before it went in to have the clutch replaced but I highly doubt it would have been replaced with that...most likely a more standard type of fluid...What can I check out next Onto the next issue, The car has all of a sudden started over boosting, makes it all the way up to 8psi in any gear when accelerating hard then cuts out and appears to go into limp mode for a while after that. have checked all the hoses cleaned the boost solenoid and have not fixed anything. We have thought that maybe the cat is stuffed but I read somewhere that if that was the case then there would be a warning light come up on the dash and there are none of those. Not sure if this may be part of the issue but the car also hunts for revs and idle going from 500ish to 800 and will sometime stall when stopping at traffic lights etc. Would really love some help on this is anyone has any ideas we are moving to VIC at the end of October and would really like to get these couple of issues sorted before then.
