Still got footie pies and roos though and maybe some cheap imported cars now? They were the great Australian car that nobody wanted to buy it sucks but you can't sell a product no one is willing to pay for everyone just seems to want a crappy mazda 3 or a softroader nowdays its very sad

What did he have to do to that 253? they make like 130kw standard that's a boat anchor in anyones book just because you can make a certain engine fast doesn't mean you should its just a waste of time and money eg the boss 5.4lt lol

Maybe change the oil a bit more regularly 14months and 12k is almost as bad as ford spec 15k which I'm sure is what costs people turbos go every 7.5k and your car will love it or 5k if your like me turbo cars hate old dirty oil and yeah do the diff its easy and cheap and when your has a few kays on that's the time to step up the servicing so stuff doesn't wear out so quickly

4lt turbo vs 4.2 na turbo is always gonna chop it.In racing a turbo engine is multiplied by 1.7 for capacity so 4 by 1.7 equals a 6.8lt any wonder he got chopped probably weighs the same as the falcon too -
its the spring on the clutch pedal spray it with some silicon spray and it will go away for a year or so mine has just started doing it again I will spray it tommorrow

Maybe take your car to someone good like monsta torque cheaping out on workshops that don't know these cars will cost you an engine is your car a ba by any chance? Has it done a leg out of bed?

Remove the cat and put some 3" pipe in place it will be the ultimate hiflow cat but will make the car smell a bit and sound quite a bit louder though I have a hiflow and cat my car still smells so its much of a muchness but free power is good a tune will definently be required though

nissans are unreliable and tourqueless we had a couple at work one did a head and the other had massive clutch handbrake and driveline issues and did a turbo though they were 3lts all our Toyotas we have hiluxs and landcruisers are reliable and go harder you get what you pay for.The only good nissans are skylines,gtrs and silvias etc or the old 4.2lts

Just tek screw a plastic battery tray into the spot where the airbox was it looks really pro and is sure to last the test of time post some pics after you've done it

fg non turbos are going cheap as chips 300-$550 on fleabay if your going to rebuild any way they are cheap and much newer less chance of core shift
