its axle tramp try to get it fixed eg grippy tyres or better shocks as its quite bad for your diff, cvs and driveshafts and will break one or all of them eventually roots your diff bush too lol
every tuned turbo car I've had ate copper plugs flat out after about 14psi and up they are lucky to last 10,000 are fords magical at making copper plugs last?
so they are $27 for six but you have to change them every 10,000 but set of platinums cost me $45 delivered and they can do 65,000 with no problems hmmm I think platinums ftw
I think the cable ties are more a problem they will cook and break reallly soon plus stainless braid will rub through that pipe its cable tied too get some more fire sleeve or use a couple of pclamps so it looks good
unbolt cat at next power run that will let you know if its stuffed 18 psi is way too much for that power so you must have an exaust restriction somewhere
wouldn't valve springs give it a hump in the power curve as the springs bind then unbind the curve looks nice and smooth so I would think a rooted cat is more likely?
there is a hardness rating on tyres look for more silica content and they are harder I have some at the mo they are crap can't hold power at all spin in third in the dry sometimes not the best for being fast but a lot of fun
holesaw a 3 or 4" hole in the stock airbox gives you heaps more induction noise and better throttle response I had to do this because my xr8 intake wouldn't fit with my pw intercooler pipes it is just like having xr8 intake but way more induction noise cheapo holesaw kit from bunnings cost 10 bucks
any braided line with crimp fitting shouldn't leak it just has been crimped incorrectly I do heaps of hose fitting in my job and a correctly crimped line will hold up to 6000psi depending on line quality it isnt the crimp that ever fails unless it isnt crimped right the first time don't hate on crimps they are fine reusable fittings eg screw on will leak too if fitted wrong
Well I was dubios but I've just done it and it literally makes the sub sound 100% better it now sounds like an aftermarket rather than some cheap factory sub wtf ford must have stuffed up the wiring what a great mod just saved myself 200 bucks and I am a guy that has always had a crazy aftermarket stereo in every car but this one so I know my sound systems
It brings to mind the old adage never buy the first series of any car I should have listend and got an fg series 2 hopefully they can fix the diff bushes by then
