  8. The ve Late model camira has the worst handbrake ever it feels and looks like it should in a kia and the a pillar blindspots are crazy. The 6lt feels like it is about to get up and boogey but never really does.Drive one back to back with an fg turbo on the same day and you will make your mind up I did
  9. just take off 2 coil packs then engine will shake and sound lumpy and use heaps of juice instant big cam I love cars that barely idle
  10. that's not many kays for the auto to be playing up is this because ford says they are sealed for life and never service them mainly?

  14. theres a setting so if you unlock the car the boot is unlocked at the same time or another setting that only unlocks drivers door its in the icc menu

  16. Having a key and button to start the car is so crap it funny.It is like having to press the button on your remote entry and then still having to put the key in the door lock as well totally retarded

I rekon the turbo six sounds awesome with some mods like a fighter jet and whats the point having a car that only sounds fast that's for posers all show no go I think people talk up the lag situation way too much my manual fg has almost no lag and will spank a clubbie or other na car off the line because it is already making boost when you rip out the clutch youj ust have to know how to drive and have some decent rubber a lot of v8s up my way sound well sh*t they are way to loud sound like they are flying but go like sh*t its false advertising
  20. yep what he said only reason to buy a 5.4 is for the sound or because theyre so cheap the s/c 5lt sounds way better anyway I head a stock s/c gt today they sound great stock
  21. an na engine still needs to rev to make power and the turbo six makes more power and torque at lower revs than the 5.4lt v8 which makes its torque peak quite high in the revs so the turbo has more "instant power" so to speak that's why my xr6 turbo literally pulls away from an fg 5.4 like its in reverse it has instant torque very low in the rev range where a boss has to rev to around 4500 to really start moving
  22. the reason I said the 5.4lt is a boat anchor is the fact it is inherantly flawed in its design because ford australia in its wisdom decieded it needed to increase the capacity of the 4.6lt modular engine so it would appeal to bogan aussie v8 lovers that think engine capacity is the only thing to have so they handicapped a nice revvy power productive quad cam v8 that would have given Expensive Daewoo a good run but giving it the stroke of a truck just so it could talk up the capacity so now the 5.4 isn't very good down low and has an alright midrange and doesn't like to rev not really what you would want in an engine if you ask me and they are too expensive to modify you need to remove the engine to fit some extractors pretty good
