  2. Kris, IH8TOADS was the member who helped me diagnose my tune before and found it to be very poor. Same symptoms rough idle, rpm dips, stalling etc. Definately worth logging your car and let him have a look for ya! IH8TOADS gets my thumbs up for helpfulness!
  3. happened to me twice had the tps replaced seems to do the trick
  4. Any updates? Pics of the new wheels?
  5. Hey guys im just after some suggestions in sydney on a panel shop that can respray the front bumper on my FG. Got scrapes on the side and bottom no major damage but I just want it resprayed. Obviously not after the best of the best shop as its just a respray job without needing to fix anything major. Also dont want some dodgy shops so somewhere decent and wont cost the earth. Is $500 a reasonable price for this type of job? Thanks Ps eastern suburbs or Illawarra suburb locations are preferred but not neccesary
  6. Dunno anywhere in melb but I got the tripods fitted in sydney with a tuner and costed $400

Hey guys ive finally got my FG retuned since been poorly tuned by another workshop. It is tuned at crescent motorsport recommended by Chris (Rapid) so a big thanks to him for helping out as usual! I decided not to go to a "big" name shop anymore as I just want honest work and dedication to the tune and Joe at CMS has done that. Fixed all the stalling and idle issues which was present from previous tune and scaled the injectors correctly. Mods: Rapid V2 kit with battery relocation Bosch Ev14 60lb injectors xforce 4"dump + 5"cat Special thanks to Chris, IH8TOADS, Rhino1980, riki83 and everyone that gave good advice. Overall safe tune 317rwkw with 1100nm+ of torque. Dyno graph will follow soon
  8. You guys might not understand but I think riki will agree with me, both of us dealt with the "bigger" workshops but ended up been dicked around. That's not the point of this thread to put other workshops down but we are just looking for some honest workshop who actually cares about their customers.
  9. Bit the bullet decided not to wait for tunehouse for another 6 weeks and try get it fixed now. Chris kindly booked me in with CMS for tomorrow. Talk about quick service! Fingers crossed good luck comes my way
  10. By the way my xcal3 came with the printer cable otherwise just unplug your printer lol.
  11. Thanks IH8TOAD for helping me out. My car doesnt sound healthy at all =(
  12. I think member here Slymeat had his g6et tuned there and was quite happy. Riki let us know how you go as im waiting for jim to come back but it wont be for another 6 weeks
  13. Not tunehouse fault shoulda went them in the first place just saying going to tunehouse for a retune. IH8TOADS you are right pretty much everytime I went back it was just punch in some numbers in to the flasher and hope for the best as there are "other" jobs to be completed. Lesson learnt ive spent $6k to get a car running worse than stock everytime I come to a stop it will literally drop dead or shudder badly before rpm jumps up. Like dips then up again. Mind you it wasnt any random workshop either in sydney and lets leave it at that. After the 5th time it seems to be fixed but it just doesnt feel right the car is indicating rich and using alot of fuel. I think the tune has been richened and idle rpm raised to 700 as well but that's just not the right way to fix the issue. So when october comes ill be heading to tunehouse for a retune and see what power it can make.
  14. Hate to break it to ya but ive got the tuff car parts ev14s 60lb installed on the FG. Heard good stuff about the ev14s so I decided to spend abit more. This is possibily the worst mistake ive done. Not saying the injectors are bad, they seem to work quite well but you will need it tuned PROPERLY. Take this advice from me as I have to go back to the workshop no less than 5-6 times within two weeks to get the car just to run normally ie no stalling, shuddering etc. The car still doesnt feel 100% im just waiting for jim from tunehouse to come back and retune the car which was taken to another workshop in the start.
  15. nice bay ryan, ill add in my one. Now just need to wait for jim to retune it! Also got rapids coil covers on the way lol
  16. More pics!!! interior everything!
  17. Mmm dunno why people have to take the 500rwkw so literal. Its merely said to suggest that no you dont need the MOST expensive cooler to support your needs. 500rwkw is a made up figure from me and not within this post I dont see whats the problem here. On the other note I know where rhino is coming from and its true some manufacturers(not going to say here) do claim superiority over others and claim others as junk even if not in this post. To suggest to only use this thread as your source of information is misleading as the title does say "fg coolers" and any info relating to them can be mentioned.
  18. Feel your pain I need a retune but jim is gone for 2 months and no one else can tune.
  19. Quite true rhino as not all or shall I say majority will be pushing 500rwkw+. Any decent cooler out there will support 350-400rwkw and that's way enough for street use which most people are here for.
  20. is it tuned? my fg did that after been tuned. had to bring it back several times to correct it. I know the feeling feels like the car is going to drop dead when you come to a stop.
  21. Any of the forum sponsors should able to fit your gauges no problem. Otherwise if you are looking for a mobile fitter than you can try sting ray car radios. He fitted alot of gauges for fords before and the comments received was quite positive. 22. Keep in mind the FG comes with the TR6060 which replaced the t56. So from factory it comes with a shorter gear stick and smoother shifting
  23. If you want fun you cant go pass the manual although there are clunks and bangs here and there. If you want quick then auto is the go. Ive got a FG manual
