  13. I payed 3k for my t56 that I got off slash
  14. haha yea I know wat ya mean. my old knob used to do the same. maybe being alot more metal might mean that it takes alot more heat to get it hot so it may not heat up as much. I will find out 1 day I suppose but if it does ill just do wat I do with the old knob. just wrap a piece of paper or something around it
  15. Nah mate was pretty easy for me to do at work. had to cut the thinner part of the stick back to about 20mm above the tapered section then run a die nut over it to suit the gear knob thread. I then cut the stick just below the tapered section to just above the first bend. vee'd it out and welded it back up. then used a linisher take the weld back flush.
  16. My mate at work programmed and machined my up a aluminium gear knob and I cut the gearstick and shortened it. The whole set-up sits about 75mm lower than stock. these photos dont do it any justice. I couldn't see any blemishes but some off these photos make it look like there is some slight markings on the knob. looks 5x better irl but shows up any dirty marks really well let me know wat use think
  17. true sh*t, not good. must be somethin in the air up here. everyone seems to be having problems
  18. at what stage would you replace the fuel regulator
  19. EJ what happend to your car mate?
  20. mine does the same thing at the moment. also my engine code was coming up before hand and I took it to the mechanic and the error was something to do with the tps. I then replaced the tps and the engine light was still coming on after I disconnected the battery and all that. now I sometimes get revs fluctuating between 250-800rpm
  21. they are pretty tight to clip on but that's wat stops them from coming off. u dont have to alter that number plate at all. they are a bit of a bastard to get on but just get the bottom side clipped on then push the top side hard against the number plate and push the latches over. hope that helps
