Sorry to steal you thred Shananp, although I have a clunking tailshaft in my FG manual, sounds grizzly, but only seems to be in first gear. Sounds like metal on metal but the Ford stealership are saying that its fine. Doesn't sound fine to me.... Anyone had problems with the Manual driveline? I bought a manual this time round, mainly because I thought it would be easier to replace clutch plates than having the whole box refreshed as with my old BA, and the fact that I missed a manual......

I have just hit 35,000 in my FG, 10k of which I have put on it. Daily driven and a true work horse. Going strong. Time for an upgrade though...

Quite right, I don't have the tramp problem with any drift action! Still need some good advice on new tyres for it though..

I just picked up a FG XR6t sedan manual, and it tramps in the wet, although in the dry I don't have that problem, I'm looking at some new tyres (18"), any suggestions.. I heard Maxxis are good for the money, although anything at around the $300-350 mark would be OK. Will new tyres help the situation? They have about 2000 k to go.
