Im about to respray the front of mine for the 4th time since 2010. Just covered in chips realy bad. I live in a mining area. Contractor utes and trucks driving off sites dropping dirt, mud and rocks everywhere. Its a real pain. Even with none in sight there is that much junk on the roads the traffic just tosses it all around.
600rwhp xr6t vs 600awhp evo are two different cars. Sure build the engine for 600awkw evo. But that's just like build the engine for 800rwhp xr6t. Trust me the mods will always be close cost wise apples for apples. Fast, cheap or reliable, choose two. Stuff the Evo X. IX and earlier are better.
Sent pm LU82. Check your pinion yoke bolts. I was running cut down stock bolts that I cut mismatched. Had slight vibes. Now running allen key headed 12.9 grade bolts in proper length needed. No vibes
6 George. I went 12.3, 12.0, 12.2 then after you left I went 11.7, 11.5, 11.4. There is heaps more in it on a street tyre but will be back on ET streets.
GTX4202 and GTX4294 both have the same turbine -42. 4202 has a 102mm exducer on the compressor where as the 4294 has a 94mm exducer. Rear wheels the same but 4202 has bigger front wheel and therefor higher hp potential.
All F6's only came with 19" wheels. Series 1 had the option of the dark argent wheels and the twisty wheels standard. Series 2 only got the twisties. The statement about the euro4 making more power with a tune is bs too.
Upshift 2-3 at about 1/2throtle. It felt like the clutches just locked up for a split second and pop. Sounded like someone in backseat poped bubblegum. Joe has been great. Organizing a tow and he is going to fix it.
