  1. Spool is over rated. That vid looks like just wheelspin city.
  2. Circuit slicks have a stiff sidewall. Depends on compound but not realy that soft and you are going narrower. Id race it as you drive it on the street and are use to. Let me know when you go, im planning on a trip soon too.
  3. I think they would be pretty close at estimating the Horsepower
  4. This article is brilliant http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/3099/Nerds-Eye-View--Inside-10000-horsepower.aspx

Haha I like your wicked thoughts. Id like to go highmount but if I do that may as well go t4 flange and bigger turbo. Open slather it will be now I dont have to drive it to work everyday.

Yeah Autotech has a tough dyno. Both workshops I've used I thoroughly recommend. Dont focus too mich on dyno numbers. My best time was done with stuffed coils, bosh 044 not up to scratch, flogged out suspension and loose manifold/turbo bolts so id like 134mph+ out of it now. Word of warning, noisy 044 pumps. Mine got steadily louder untill it was unbearable and stopped pumping. The new one I put in is as quiet as a mouse. Has been my daily driver since I bought it and now at 12x,000kms im retiring it to the shed.

Thought its about time I put up a build thread for my F6 I purchased the car new in Jan 2010. I dragged it a fair bit and got a best time of 12.6@112mph and recorded 266rwkw on the dyno. Wheels are BBS CH black in 8.5&9.5 Tyres Nitto Invo 245/35r19&285/30r19 First mods It went to Autotech engineering in Dec 2011. PW stage 3 intercooler PW battery reloction and race airbox PW anti surge and 044 Crow race valve springs Dekka 60 injectors Xforce 4" full exhaust Turbo wastegate port and larger flapper This resulted in 353rwkw an a best time of 11.7@123 on street tyres. Snapped the tailshaft on the street so Gibson driveshafts made me one of thier first uni jointed shafts. Second round of mods May 2013 the car went to CMS Motorsport. GTX3582R and new rear housing ID1000 injectors Car then went 451rwkw on eflex and 400 on 98. Snapped input shaft and Joe had me going again with a cryo and shotpeened item. Recorded bests of 11.44@131 on street tyres and 10.91@131 on ETs Around the same time I had coils failing and the 044 die. Im sure there is a lot more in it. Since then I had Sydney suspension go over it and rebuild all the suspension. King ssl and sssl Bilstien shocks Whiteline sway bars front and rear All bushes that could be replaced with Superpro items They did a brilliant job sandblasting and or painting every component. Car is now getting to where I want it but not finished yet. Future plans are dual entry fuel rail and second 044, then tune on united e85 and turn the wick up on the stock motor
  8. They best sounding. Not Just too big for the street but outdated tech nowdays too.
  9. Sounds good but kinda baby t51r
  10. Best sounding? Ill try find some clips of 3794. For me T51R spl!
  11. Im not saying one is better. Just the statement its 1200rpm quicker to full boost. Which it is by your graphs yes. that's more of a tune thing. T51r would be that much slower.
  12. Sorry Turboboinc, im discrediting that earlier spool of pte vs gtx. There is more to it than that. Look at your first graphs, 98 vs e85. 98 max boost before 2960 vith e85 slow rise to max boost near 5000. Same turbo different fuels. E85 is supposed to spool quicker because of higher cylinder pressures. I feel its all in the tuning. Also graph rises like a v8 whereas a hash graph goes up then across like a table. I think thier is more variables in tuning/other parts that can make a bigger difference than between these two turbos.
  13. PTE6466 not comparable to GTX3582r. Try PTE6466 vs Gtx4088r
  14. Mine went 400@19 on 98. 451 on eflex and they only stopped there cause 1 044. I got 131mph with fkd coils.
  15. No joe dont go .3mm. He does .030 thou of Inch. Roughly .76
  16. With stock shaft realy no safe level with slicks. I broke mine on the street. Big gamble
