  3. That TTXR8 (Belongs to CAT600 from here and AFF) has gone through something like 3 or 4 ZF Input shafts.
  4. If Harrop make their own Rotors, it might even be worth speaking to DBA to see if they make a rotor to fit the Harrop's?
  5. Lower volume production, bigger rotors. Also depends on how they compare in terms of quality. The Alcon's are even more expensive.
  6. VCM website lists the Ultimates at $6,450.. http://www.vcmstore....ake-Ulitmate-FG * Two piece 381mm X 32mm 12-slot directional front rotors (pair) * Two piece 356mm X 28mm 12-slot directional rear rotors (pair) * 6 piston Harrop two piece aluminium front calipers (pair) * 4 piston Harrop two piece aluminium rear calipers (pair) Is it the same kit?
  7. There are a few on AFF that have done water pumps I believe, could be that? http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11328428
  8. Cars werent finished on time?
  9. Fairly sure the Falcon V8 utes run a 4-link rear end.
  10. It wasnt even the runway, it was the taxiway, and it sounds like both the F6 and GT were at the speed limiter, though the F6 barely got to it.

    Fpv Or Xr6T?...

Load rating of the wheels possibly?

    Top Speeds

Fairly sure they can check that sort of thing. All they need is your license number and to type it into the RTA website.....
  13. Probably because FPV's last "concept car" was called the F6 Typhoon?
  14. Mitsubishi closed their plant over here a couple of years ago after their medium/large car the Mitsubishi 380 failed to sell up to their expectations.
  15. Craig Lowndes given a $10,000 fine after doing a burnout at the entrance to pit lane after the race in Darwin today.
  16. He went over for one season and was then forced to pull the plug. The other driver in the F3000(?) team was a guy called Juan Pablos Montoya, I assume we've all heard of him.
  17. Remember he was running a BF supercar shell last year though. The current V8's have 12" wheels on the back, I assume the BF was the same. Maybe he was limited to what would fit under the BF sedan without modification?
  18. Can't edit post. So just saw that he's running an improved version of the xr6t engine from last year. Other then Aesthetics is there a reason his CG image is using the xr8 bonnet? Big turbo that wont fit under an xr6t bonnet?
  19. Isnt 50 the 'list' price without options and before government charges? So depending on what the dealer gets them for, they might not be making much money on that deal at all.
  20. Nice looking ute. Do you know if he's running the xr6t engine from last year or whether he's running either a 5.4 BOSS or one of the new GS/GT engines? Would have thought a sedan would have been better around the track, but oh well, looks like he'll have more time to get it setup this year then he did with the ex-V8SC. Hopefully he goes faster as well.
  21. Last time I was in Tamworth I saw four of them in my Grandparents street. Oh, and if you ever want to see a heap of them, drive past the car parks at Robb College and St Alberts College at Armidale Waste of a good car/ute.
  22. Yes its probably the cheapest and easiest option, but it isnt the only option. And I guess some people choose to go the harder more expensive route, but that is their choice and that shouldn't make it open season on them for making that choice. If you guys don't want to talk about N/A's as well as turbo's why have an N/A section? Wonder if you could fit a TVR 4.0L i6 into a Falcon....
  23. And with an attitude like this along with the general reaction of people in this section where the standard response is "buy a turbo" you wonder why he got all defensive? Anyway, if you want to know why not do what he suggested? Go over there and PM him, its not like it would cost you anything....
  24. AWD wouldn't be too bad as long as it was a longditudinal system like in the Territory or Audi's (except TT) as there would be nothing preventing the use of V8's etc with a longitudinal layout.
  25. @ *Beep*, still hasnt been confirmed. Fairly sure the latest announcement was that they wont decide until later in the year? @ Dagobert, I'll try to remember to hit "add reply" and not "reply to post" or whatever its called.
