  3. that's the only pic I have as I'm at work and got sent to me. What details are you after? It's standard eb upright with new hubs. Will have too look at mounting positions once I get home. The calliper is a wilwood 6 piston dynalite as far as I'm aware but will check invoices when I get home.
  4. Brakes are from Race Brakes Sydney, and paid just under 5k for them delivered.
  5. Well Figured since I got the car to go fast, it was time to think about some safety things, like maybe being able to stop. Because at racewars the single piston factory brakes were literally only just cutting the mustard and stopping me before the end of the runway lol. So I went and got 6 Piston Wilwood Calipers with 2 Piece DBA 5000 330mm Slotted Rotors made to suit in e series offset. The rusty one is a 297mm for comparison.

  10. Yeah apparently Tony couldn't put the foot down til well over 150kmh on that surface so on a proper prepped surface would be interesting to see how fast it could have got. Sure is Jetsnot.
  11. Also with times and speeds they had dramas with their timing equipment and not all runs were recorded so dont have any official numbers. I only did 1, 1000m run and I pulled out at about 600m mark as I shifted into 5th I kept revs up and was quite a hard shift the back end started spinning wheels and I poo'd my pants and called it a day lol. Earlier on Eddy Tassone from Active Automotive rolled his 1000rwhp+ monaro, and me running no roll cage and stock brakes I didnt want to risk it. However on the 800m roll ons, which were roll for 100m at 60kph then go for it for 700m, I was getting to around 240kmh. Fastest car on the day was an XFT tuned F6 Typhoon at 275kmh in 1000m
  12. Thanks all yeah I was definitely surprised at how quick the car was. When I'm home next car is going back on the dyno for a retune to put some timing into it, it's only running around 8 degrees at the moment. Also having boost solenoid issues so gonna be sorting that out as well, as was dropping from 25 psi in the middle down to 21-22 up top. Hopefully push out 500rwkw+

Well after a lot of hard work and effort from all involved and especially the BYE Performance team, It lives, and post Run in tune was done on thursday night last week and we left it at a very safe 622rwhp @ 25psi and 1325Nm of torque at the wheels on E85 for now. Then Friday night went off to Antilag Racewars, which is a first time event just outside of Perth at Wyalkatchem aerodrome. 1540m Airstrip where we did 1000m top speed runs and head to head 400m and 800m runs. I drove the car from Perth all the way Wyalkatchem (180km each way), raced all weekend with over 30 runs down the strip and drove home without breaking anything. Over the course of the weekend managed to hand out much chop chop.   15. Well not whole heap has happened since last update but a few things have still gone ahead. Its now so close I can smell the ethanol burning! Exhaust out the back, 3.5" stainless pipe welded onto the back of the Magnaflow muffler, looks hella fat. Remote throttle body setup going on and alloy radiator fitted as well with twin fans from BRS. From an LS1 and from memory is 74mm. Got some custom plates Picked these up as well, set of genuine EL GT's 17x8.5's so hopefully will clear brakes, going to run my R comp tyres on these rims.
  16. Hi Relentless, thanks mate. The 9 inch was basically a straight swap over, I had to send my old factory borg warner diff to get cut up so Final Drive could get the correct pinion angles and exact mounting positions and stuff. EB with ABS (optioned only) and all ED's have tone rings and ABS speed sensors on the rear axles. For Speedo theres a sender unit that uses the output shaft of the gearbox to work out speed im pretty sure, my t56 has a loom that plugs straight into the original sender unit im pretty sure, either htat or I have a new sender unit that works with the oem speedo. Can't remember exactly lol. Yeah will be haha, might have to put a build thread up in Boosted sometime . that's gold been a while coming now mate, bet you cant wait to finally get back behind the wheel of the 747 haha.
  17. Thanks Michael it's turning out pretty good so far . Down the quarter after adjusting the suspension and sway bars I would expect low 11's high 10's. But not really setting this car up for the 1/4 or I would of gone an auto, I'm aiming to get a falcon that can go around a track decently (yeah I know that sounds retarded haha) eventually I'd love to give a targa road rally a whirl, so aiming to use this car on lots of track days and whatnot, rather than just straight line. How's your EB going anyways with the TLR motor, I haven't logged into boosted in a fair while.

  19. Never had it happen in Perf mode with my force 8, but never gave it a stomp in D only in Perf mode and manual.

  23. Another update Proof is in the pudding with the old saying, Double your budget and triple the time you expect on your build. The ED didn't make powercruise this year despite the efforts of everyone involved, we called it quits a couple days before the event realising that even if we got it running, it still needed milage on the clutch, diff, box and motor before it could be given the kind of abuse I was gonna give it at the event. So in the interest of preservation it was put aside for a week or so. The rocker cover was pulled off for some mods for catch can and breathers and such, while BYE Performance Fitted the dump pipe and screamer to the car. The Custom 3.5" tailshaft was ordered and picked up a couple days later and fitted, swaybar was in upside down, its now fixed lol. No hitches there everything seemed to line up all good and Once that was in BYE Performance welded up the rest of the exhaust system, comprising of a 4" body 100 Cell cat and 3.5" stainless steel pipe all the way through to the tip with 2 mufflers. After the mods to the rocker cover it was sent off for paint. I Went and picked up the rocker cover and scorcher bar from Outter Limitz Spraypainting after Alan had worked his magic on them. I only took photos of the scorcher in my Force 8 lol, dunno why. I ordered and recieved my AIM MXL Strada dash pack as well. The second pic being for show purposes only from their website. F1 Spec on the ED wheel, minus the horn haha. It will be installed where the OEM dash cluster is, once it is removed. Rocker cover refitted and some wiring happening now as well. So things are slowly going forward again, have got some Au upper arm to stub axle adaptors on order, they allow you to get much more caster, which helps with turn in grip by giving dynamic camber n shiznit. So will be good for tracking it. Cheers for reading.
  24. I say bring it, I am bored of the same few on the podiums every year every race, bring it back to the cars and the drivers not just who's a better driver with the richest team. I stopped watching the races except Bathurst cos of boredom. I'll be watching again in 2013
  25. Theres An XFT built and tuned force 6 that has 398kw and runs high 10's with the ZF.
