Haha smart minds;) What are u changing?

Hey guys so just a bit of an update, nothings changed and I haven't got an inspection hole in my block so all is well lol. Thinking of changing the injectors to id1000 and move to e85 seeing as there is a united in dee why with it which is around the corner from where I live. Not sure if I want more power as I would hate to eat my words and have to buy a new block Also thinking of changing the valve springs, not because the standard ones have gone soft but if I go to an e85 tune I may aswell do em for safety and havent spent much/done much to the car in ages Just chucked a picture of the car up since henz asked ages ago about how they look, sorry mate time escaped lol but have one now so yeah if anyone sees me around give a beep or wave:)

Sweet that's great info guys:) Will be looking for some 4 pot calipers now lol Have enkei gtc01 18inch wheels which I'm sure would allow up to 6pot wheels ATM have dba4000 and bendix srt pads and don't have confidence in them

Thanks for getting back benny, glad your loving your brakes, makes me more inclined to go the cheaper route since I can't see myself tracking it, even though I'd like to I haven't made the time in the 2 years I've had it.. Lol I could be wrong but I've been looking into it a bit on the web this morning and found that gt/typhoon and bf can all use rda505 which are 303mm diameter so can anyone confirm with different sizes or something that the discs are different? Also if the caliper is different how so?
-
Hey guys, Are there many people out there that have changed the front calipers over for the 4 pot front brembos? If so have u been happy with this or moved up to the full 6/4 setup. Also is the standard fpv rear brakes the same as the bf xr6t caliper? Thanks for responses in advance

Just to update since installing the check valve I haven't had one problem with start ups and that includes not driving the car for 12 days and it starting up straight away no fuss. Thanks for the help with the size and opinions guys -
Not sure if anyone has used vei gauges but my mate has one in his a4 and I reckon it would be perfect for our cars. Can have one gauge vac/boost and wideband and the other oil temp and oil pressure which is what I would have got had I known about them before I ordered colbalt gauges.. Important ifo without having all the clutter of multiple gauges Btw the gauges I have ATM are vac/boost and oil pressure which u can easily figure out when your oil is up to normal temps http://www.vgauges.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=21_25

So I put the one way check valve in on Sunday and I haven't had one problem with starts since so I think it fixed the problem. If I have any problems with long starts again and this was all just coincidence ill post up -

Kk sweet, from what I've read on other forums people have found it has helped quite a bit when starting as it keeps the pressure after shut down but then people also argue that it should prime quick enough when u go to start... I don't really know but figured it was worth a try Thanks for that unclewal but I live in dee why so I may aswell just eBay it Ill let u guys know if it changes anything -
Hey guys, was wondering if anyone could tell me whether the standard fuel line from the 044 is -6an or -8an as I'm going to buy a 1 way check valve cause I've always had problems with long starts which I'm assuming because it's siphoning back which this should stop. Also is $45 reasonable for a Aeroflow one way or do u guys have any other recommendations? Cheers

Sideways no probs, if u End up selling the plumbback pm me:)
-
Sweet thanks guys, I thinks I will end up either Plazmaman or turbo smart Sideways, when u hook up the plumbback can u let me know if u get surge? Also I assume it's not a kompac since its a 38 yeah? So u happen to know the differences between kompac and universal?

Hey guy, What plumbback bov do people run when you start running 15+ psi? Talking to friends with audi cars suggest using forge, baileys and hyperboost or even a higher rated Bosch that porche turbos use. However there are larger plumbacks such as plazmamans and turbo smart that are 34/38mm does the extra diameter help with releasing pressure? Just curious on people's thoughts as currently my Bosch still permits alot of compressor surge above say 10psi?
