  1. How much u looking at for it? may know somebody interested.
  2. Thanks bud, nah live up in Gladstone so just run up at benaraby. I took it a couple times through the year but just little sh*t going wrong stopped me from goin an 11. Did a low 12 with no drive from 1/8th mile when the clutch was slipping. So with it all working should go easy high 11's
  3. Yeah might of been me just being a gumby with the c4 lol I was the same but the other way, all I ever played was pc games for like the last 5 years and then started playing console at the start of the year and I was hopeless for the first few days, just couldnt get me head round it lol now im not too bad but wouldnt mind a new computer sometime next year. Then ill be on bf4 for sure once that happens.
  4. Hi all, been a member for a while and owned my BA since 2010 but never ended up putting up a build thread. Its been a long road with the car so I wont bore you with all the details and get up to where it is today. Although in its life it has seen a few different power levels and with a change of tuner later im happy as a pig in sh*t with it. Here are some mods: Xforce 4" s/s dump Xforce 4.5" s/s cat Xforce 3.5" s/s cat back GCG ported housing and larger flapper 12 psi actuator Crow valve springs & retainers Plazmaman 4" Race Airbox Battery relocated to boot Plazmaman 2.5" Hotside piping Rapid V2 Intercooler with cold side piping Custom Throttle body relocation Plazmaman Surge with Holley Dominator 1400 fuel pump Aeroflow fuel rail Tuff Car Parts 1000cc Injectors Turbosmart 1200 Fuel reg -8 Braided fuel lines Direct Clutch Services Twin Plate 1000hp Race Series Clutch MGW Short Shifter It was tuned at Forced Performance and Tuning in Toowoomba back in April and made 362rwkw on bp98 and 430rwkw on united e85. When we were tuning it though Jamie noticed in the power runs the valve springs were going soft (already had a set of crows in which didnt even last 18 months) so ive replaced them with another set of heavier crow springs and retainers. Also the clutch wasnt even 12 months old and the alloy csc I put in had cracked and leaked fluid everywhere meaning the clutch was out last month being sent away for a rebuild. So Its on run in at the moment and ill be going back down to get the tune double checked in march then itll be go time at the drags again. At this stage I dont have a lot more plans for the car but ive said that everytime ive gone to a new power level and it more crap just keeps getting done lol so heres a couple pics of the car anyway.
  5. Yeah my computers about 4 years old and my xb1 has better gear in it then the pc, mine still has an old nvidia gtx260 haha. I was running bf3 at medium on it so I havent even bothered with bf4 yet as a mate has a pretty good pc, similar specs to yours and said he was running medium as well. As far as jihad jeeping goes I loaded up a jeep and rammed it into a stationary tank and set it off and all it did was a 21 vehicle damage score and blew the jeep to sh*t lol was quite pissed cause then the tank just turned around and blew me away.
  6. Wish I had money to upgrade/buy new pc for bf4. I had bf3 on pc and 360 but now ive got bf4 on xb1. So far seems not to bugged on there, second assault map pack with the bf3 maps is wicked. My only beef now is theyve nerfed Jihad Jeeping so I cant pull swiftys on tanks anymore :( lol
  7. I bought one a few weeks ago and so far its wicked. Only played forza and bf4 multiplayer so far and both games have awsome graphics. As far as party chat goes yeah its pretty sh*t. Already had the ports forwarded in my router for xbox live with the 360 but also had to disable my UPnP in the router though for the xb1 for party chat to work. Heard its a common problem as u need your nat settings to open not strict pita! Other than that I like It but time will tell as to how other games will go.

Ah yeah that would suck. At least u got one of the best tuners in the game up there. 98 tune and some water meth and ud be sweet. If you have a smart phone united have an app that tells where all the servos with e85 are and even how much the fuel is, might be worth lookin into

Well I got valve springs put in last weekend so im headin out to this fridays test n tune to hopefully crack that 11
  12. Yeah was my thoughts exactly considering I did the right thing and paid a reputable shop the 900 to fit only to have a 2 year life span. So yeah im a bit pissed about it to say the least lol
  13. Mine were installed by a reputable tuner in August 2011 and yeah there shagged. I ol mate said best bet would be getting it to a reputable tuner. I have to drive at least 6 hours to get to one but it's worth it.
  14. This is a bit of a long shot but how long were the valve springs in the car before u bought it? Reason I ask is mine has a set of crow hd valve springs and last time I got it tuned we knew they were on there way out but held ok once we changed to e85. Although I noticed after a few weeks it just got doughier. I took it back to the tuner and wala down 60kw. This is just my case and maybe different to yours but its worth checkin it out as mine is doughy as fark comin on boost now and wont hold power over about 4500rpm. Also my valve springs werent quite 2 years old before they gave up the ghost.

Ah good stuff bud, yeah that's my main issue being a manual is not enough off the line and bog it down, if I manage to get enough it just turns the tyres. So im hoping for the october meet ill have the new set of valve springs and a set of mt's on the arse and see if I cant crack into the 11's

Howd you go last night bud? Welshy told me bout this thread last night, im hoping to get out for the october meet for a run in my sh*tter again.
  17. If your in toowoomba, you could also check out Jamie at Forced Performance as well, knows his way around a falcon when it comes to tuning them.
  18. Well I have news to report on the tuff car parts injectors and they were absolutly perfect. Made 362rwkw on pump 98 and 430rwkw on e85 and had the fuel system to match and didn't have one issue with the injectors at all. So I would recommend the tuff car parts injectors anyday and for the price you can't go wrong.
  19. I fitted up my 1400hp pump to a plaz surge on the weekend. Also ran the rest of my fuel system which was Aeroflow twin entry rail (only running single entry atm), Turbosmart 1200 reg and all braided -8 fuel line for e85 and 1000cc injectors to go in at the time of tune. As for noise level I would say its quiter than a single 044, can definatly here it on prime up but when the car is running you really have to listen for it.
  20. Well ill clarify they werent genuine ID1000's then they were the Tuff Car Parts Modified 1000cc's. But im sure will still be fine and will let you's know how they go when I get them tuned. What was supplied is exactly what was quote and exactly what was invoiced. Tuff Car Parts initially offered a choice of Genuine Injector Dynamics ID1000cc injectors, VCMP1000cc injectors and their own TCP1000 1000cc bosch EV14 injectors and I chose the TCP1000 option.
  21. Well there you go. Ive talked to him about them and he said that he's sold plenty and never had a drama and offers a 100% money back guarantee. So will see how they go when it hits the dyno anyway.
  22. Well what are they then?
  23. Nah he supplied them in a plastic box with the injectors in foam cut outs. But they have the bosch number up the side which I have researched and have come up to be genuine. These are what I got. http://www.tuffcarparts.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=180_35_36&product_id=85
  24. Got my Bosch ID1000cc's off Justin at Tuff Car Parts for $470 for the set, including wiring harness adapters and spacers (for ba/bf). Hes as reputable as a seller gets and there definatly genuines. So id give him a go.
  25. I got one of the 1400hp pump going on mine in the next couple weeks. Will let you know how this goes on the BA when its tuned as im going aftermarket rail, reg and injectors for e85.
