  1. Got the tune touched up a little today, plenum made a big difference but kept it conservative though due to still being BA motor.
  2. Just keep ba bottom end, change to e85 and bam 400kw on bottom end no worries!
  3. Well not too much to update on the car, but I did recently change from the throttle body relo to a plazmaman plenum. Before: After: Im headin over to Jamie at FPT this Friday to have the tune checked out to make sure everything is sweet and hopefully make similar power on a little less boost. But the cars goin on the backburner for a while as I picked up my new toy the other day, so much more fun then the XR already lol
  4. I wouldnt touch anything from intune motorsports. Id contact Tony Bellert Race Engines in Toowoomba. He does a few types of springs that arnt sh*t as he only uses good brands at not bad prices.
  5. Tbh I havent heard too many great stories about ol mate at caloundra either as ive heard some horror stories from them as well. But whats done is done I suppose. Just hope that all the money time and effort that uve spent has been worth it from being fuct over by tuners that have seen you coming.
  6. I know Jamie at FPT is probably a bit booked out but hes definitely work the wait. I was in the same boat as you, got my car tuned at the same place and car felt like a slug for the power it made and I was always left with more questions then answers. Made the change to jamie and even drive 7 hours from Gladstone to get there and ive never looked back. Cars the quickest its ever been and managed 11.43@126mph with 550hp in a manual with stock motor, cvs and mt's.
  7. Yeah possibly, ive only got it 2 years ago. The first one I got before the csc let go was a bit of a dog to drive but the new one is heaps better but yeah it handles it fine
  8. True? I havent had a drama with this one. The clutch has been rebuilt though but not due to its fault. The alloy csc I had in there cracked where the flare nut goes in and leaked clutch fluid over everything and fuked the clutch. So I got it built bigger and better with new warranty csc and havent had a drama.
  9. Yeah its got a direct clutch services twin plate clutch with solid center discs. Ive had the pressure plate pressure wound up as well. It cops a flogging and has never slipped once.
  10. Yeah this is the only dyno sheet I got.
  11. That was with the current tune, boost comes on hard as I <3 Bananas though. its making 400kw by 4k rpm. It just turns tyres normalls but I had been cuttin a couple skids beforehand so the tyres must of had some heat in them enough to grip up and smash the cv.
  12. And this from a 2nd gear roll on and actually got traction on the street.
  13. What a 5000rpm clutch drop looks like on stock cv shafts lol
  14. I know this is a big of a retarted question but would anyone know who has the fasted stock bottom end manual BA/BF so far? Just seeing how far I can push my blue turd.
  15. Not much has happened performance wise with the car recently but had the tune touched up last time I was in brisbane by Jamie at Forced Performance in Toowoomba and once again stoked with how it went. I ran it at the test n tune here in benaraby a few weekends ago and managed to go an 11.43 @ 126mph with a 1.8 60ft and a 11.47 @ 126mph with a 1.7 60ft. I was stoked with how it went and the 60fts I was managing in the manual. On the last run of the night the the cv shaft had had enough and and snapped the outer shaft in the hub. Heres a video of the run though. (Sorry for the sh*t sound quality, accidently left the sealed back on the go pro instead of putting the skeleton back on it)

Sniff the steering wheel John, I teabagged it when I was there last. It felt good...... lol
  18. 415rwkw on ba motor. But e85 is your friend
  19. Mines 6200 im pretty sure.
  20. Mines factory t56. Its a mk2 ba and when I worked for ford I looked it up in the system and was definatly 6 speed for factory
  21. Im not too sure, could be what keithy said, they might be 3.73s. Id say the ba's had the taller gears for the 5 speed manual but released the 6 speed with the same gears. They might have gone the shorter gears in the bfs being a 6 speed alowing for 6th as an added overdrive.
  22. I was running a 275 40 17 MT's. I was hittin limiter rite on the line if not right after but not before so it might have 1 or 2 mph at best left in it with that setup but would need a bit more power to get it there. For time and I was runnin id say puts me bang on the power figure it made.
  23. Yeah its only a ba xr6t as the stock bar was fuct I just bought a bf f6 bar and put on cause it looked better lol
  24. Runnin stock gears so whatever they are. 3.45s maybe? But I dont think itll go a quicker mph unless my limiter is raised or I go 5th as its crackin limiter as its hittin the finish line. But id be reluctant to go 5th or raise the limiter as its still stock ba motor.
