  2. I tried unbolting the center coupling when I did mine. Every bolt out and still wouldn't budge so I drained oil and slipped joint out. When I got it out I did everything possible and the kent wouldnt separate its seized together

  7. If it were me id be at least upgrading the intank to a walbro 255lph. There not that expensive and when running a surge whatever pump you run on there will be outflowing the intank pump. If theres an instance where your giving a good hiding the last thing u want is the surge running out cause of a stock lift pump. Also if its never been changed itd be over 10 year old now so even for peace of mind id be replacing it.

  10. Well mines got a list and a half on it and its made the power and run numbers but like you said people arnt prepared to pay for mods like they once were. Ive started mine at 16,500k but being expected to be talked down. Already had some stupid offers for swaps though.
  11. Yeah from what I could tell they were sayin the asymmetrical tyre was an issue. And the riders on the soft front were the ones havin issues where as the ones with extra soft fronts werent having the issues like rossi and lorenzo etc. Maquez stackin it was a mystery. He was 6 seconds ahead with no pressure and just put it in the dirt.

  14. Holy Crap! That is fuggin awsome man! Congrats on the build, cant wait to see what you run. 323hp would be insane to ride, im scared by my r1 let alone something like that haha
  15. Another option to try is Direct Clutch Services. Im runnin one of there clutches rated to about 800hp for just over 1800. Its a twin plate clutch but very streetable and has held over 400kw no worries with stints at the strip with semi slicks. Its always best to go bigger than needed with clutches and not just meet your requirements.
  16. ^^ this guy knows, I put it down the skinny rods have less reciprocating mass therefore allow the engine to rev easier therefore being easier on the rods lol
  17. nah nothing different, just pushin those skinny rods further then they should be going lol
  18. The turbo 6 speeds take 4.8L of oil which you gotta remove the reverse light sensor and fill from there. Was thinkin bout goin the penrite pro gear 70w-75. Ive heard people that have run it have noticed a difference in box noise quietening down and shifts no different. When I first got the car it had transmax z in it like everyone recommends and rollover noise was just as bad with that as well.
  19. Currently im runnin the nulon fully synthetic dex 3 auto oil with the nulon g70 transmission additive. Changed gears sweet and has never missed a beat but im thinkin of goin a heavier oil next change as the rollover noise in the box is pretty noisy with that oil
  20. Ill agree with ya bud, I ran the 235/45 17's on mine when I still had about 400ish hp and they hooked up perfectly even in a manual at the drags. although when I went to 500hp they didnt give much grip off the line.

  23. Thanks Bud, yeahs its a lot of fun, a whole different experience to the car. Its a big learning curve from a 250 that's for but just been taking it easy and steppin it up slowly. Its easy to see how someone with no self control or experience could easily come undone on a bike like that.
  24. Well I thought id bring up an old thread for the sake of me buying my new daily/toy the other week, picked up a 2010 Yamaha R1. I know theyre not the fastest of the sportsbike range but the crossplane crankshaft sound is what got me and they sound rank with a set of pipes. It come with K&N air filter, 15t front sprocket and GYTR carbon pipes. Sounds mental and with the less teeth sprocket the acceleration is nuts, cant wait to hit the drag strip with it. Not the best pic but will get more when I finally get it back home.
  25. Its comes on at 20psi and tapers down to about 18psi by the top end. I forgot to get a sheet with the boost curve on it but I had a look on the computer when it run the number.
