  1. I have the pacemaker 4495 headers a hi flow cat and an x-force 2.5" catback on my fg ute, sounds alright, could be better but im happy enough with it to stick with it, price was 1500 fitter (roughly cant remember exact price)
  2. Hey guys, ended up being a bubble in my front left tyre, found it while changing my rotor's on the weekend, its weird how it felt like the rear, when it was actually the front, ended up having a win with the roto's anyway as they were shagged, thanks for the replies guys
  3. I dont think it reads high, been a fair few dyno comps using his dyno and if anything the people who used it thought it read a bit low. ill get it down the strip one day for the true test
  4. changed to my stocko's last night and it didnt change a thing, I will probly look at it again on the weekend and let use know, thanks
  5. hmm, well I have my stock wheels which I am in the process of fitting now, yeah my nuts are tight that was the first thing I checked when the noise appeared.. the tyres are at about 50% treade and look in great shape, I dont do any circle work or anything, weird it just started doing it one day. the noise isnt really loud enough to take a recording of, but I can feel it a bit through the car, its very noticable at 80, and when I slow to 60 with my foot slightly on the brake pedal it seems to get a bit worse before getting better, im thinking maybe warped discs? im not to sure, any more info you guys can give would be great, ill keep you updated with what I find with the stocko's, cheers guys
  6. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has experienced a noise from the rear of there ute, it sounds like something is out of round, like a wooping sound, im thinking (hoping) that some weights have fallen off the rim, not sure if that would have this affect though, any info would be great before I start puling stuff apart, thinking it could be a bent drive shaft? not sure, utes only N/A didnt think it would have the balls to do that, I dunno. Cheers, sam.
  7. Hey the prices where as follows: zorst: $1500 Tune: $600 Intake $180 in saying that I did know my local tuner well and got it done for cash on the w/e, hope this helps.
  8. yeah I dont really want it any lounder, quieter would be better. I kinda had a feeling I'd chase my tail on this one, may try a different centre muffler and leave it at that, thanks for the replies guys. muchly appreciated, Sam.
  9. Hey guys, I currently own an n/a fg falcon, and have a 2 1/2" x-force catback on it with a hi-flow cat. Im posting in this section to get some feedback on different kinds of mufflers, ie. hooker mufflers, im just chasing a bit of a different note as as it stands the car sounds a bit like a v6 commy, has anyone tried any other kinds of mufflers? the system has 2 straight through mufflers, any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys, Sam.
  10. Hey guys just a quick question my cruise control in my fg is working but broken, when I set it to a speed it just opens the throttle to wot, therefore speeding up about 20 k's then cutting out, anyone had this issue or shall I just take it into ford, any info is appreciated, thanks
  11. ah okay.. would a simple fix be to just put my 20's back on? and I spose this will happen every time I change the wheel size.. or is there a way around it in the tune? thanks, sam.
  12. yeah but its not just the abs fault going, its weird, ill see what they say about it though, thanks for the info
  13. Hey guys, I have had 20" wheels on my car for about 2 months, and I recently changed all 4 back to my standard 18" wheels. after doing so it has been coming up with all sorts of fault codes that include, abs fault, dsc fault, air bag fault, system comms fault, and 1 other that isnt coming to mind at this time. Does anyone have any info about what could be happening? is the computer sh*tting itself? I thought id post on here to see if anyone else has had this problem. it happens 98% of the time im driving and happens about 30 seconds after I start moving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sam.
  14. hey guys, I ended up not doing the pulleys, as with the time they would take to arrive vs time I had away from work I wouldnt have been able to get them on, I will though be looking at doing them in the very near future. all the gains where from the tune only cheers, sam.
