Spine, after I can drive it again! What can I say, I was never a "Thrasher" persei, as I always let the car get to running temp before I gave it curry. But after that, it was like feeding the poor bastard vindaloo! My oil feed line was never changed in this time either, so that may have finally clogged, who knows. But I will be buying an ETM remote jobby to fit once it's all done. I just changed oil every 7.5k so having a clean fill is a good measure to prevent deaths in the turbo family. I need to get the CX7 tuned!

Driving the wifes CX7 is like driving with square I <3 Bananas wheels! I have more go in the wheel nuts of my XR than the old mazda can muster at all!

Driving home from a friends yesterday, I gave it a little squirt and as boost came on, I noticed the noise was a lot louder than usual. Babied it home as I thought I knew what was wrong. When I turned the car off, my suspicions were confirmed, from inside the car I could hear woosh woosh scrape, woosh woosh scrape. Popped the bonnet pulled the front pipe off and checked for play, there is none, so the shaft seems to be good and there is no rubbage on the front housing, cool. So now it's off with turbo and over to Rotormaster some new bearings. I bought the car brand new in Sept 04, and had it tuned at 30,000 kms. It has now just ticked over 116,000 kms. So it has survived my driving, with a minimum of 250rwkws for almost 4 years and 86,000kms. I am pretty happy with that, considering todays throw away ideals. I still think this is the best bang for your buck car that Australia has produced, EVA! goodnight.

See I am not as Dumb as I look!! WOOT. An auto elec can do it for you. When I thought mine was gone, Ford quoted me over 600 hundred maccaronies for it! Ended up being the wiper motor, thank fukity fvk!

From what I am led to believe young Charles, is that it is all one piece, I.e it's a ring around the column that also has the wiper stalk attached the other side and is non serviceable. Apparently BF1's were badly affected as they changed parts from the BA series. Approx 250+ and it needs the airbag removed to replace.

Dear old Thomas how the f*&k have you been? Long time no see. My mrs has a CX7 luxo and it is a good second car but it is also heavy on the juice. It has distinct flat spot if you floor it from a standstill but then moves along fairly briskly. Build quality sh*ts allover the falcon.

Anyone who knows me knows I drive, erm... sedately shall we say for the constables watching, my car has just ticked over 115000, has been modified since 35000 and the in line filter has never been touched. Original turbo original engine, no nansy pansy turbo timer sh*t and very rarely is let to cool too long, I am always late, lol.

Odor eater insoles, the charcoal verision. First wash them and then stuff them with newspaper. Scrunch a sheet at a time and compress them in tight. This helps them keep their shape when they are wet also draws the moisture away quicker. Also let them dry naturally like outside in the sun or on a window ledge. By quick drying them they wil retain that wet smell.

Well I can say that when I was younger my old man was good friends with tour operator that brought him out originally. My old man got me a couple of tickets and I went. I feel great. Just a scar where the skin was opened up on the side. I have already done some more great rides. Gippsland twisties, all 500 kays of them. The black spur and reefton spurs twice. Chum creek and arthurs seat a couple aswell. If you take to long to get back on you sometimes won't.

Nothing wrong with bikes Mike. It's just the jelousy of the cagers coming out when they see us go past them and through all the traffic. I love my bike.
