So all 4 models have the same internals and gear box? Just a restrictor ring.. In what model? Im not sure wich model I should go for...

Hey all I'm on the look out for an upgrade, and don't know what model is appropriate. I made the mistake when I bought my t of getting a BA just because I didn't know ennough.. I don't what to make the same mistake.. Are there any differences between the fgf6 09, 10, & 12 models??

yes but no, im moving the battery to the boot and removing the x over.. gonna do the cold side pipping and the intake off the turbo with the alloy air box.. do you have this set up? -

jump underneath on the left hand side of the car and while someone is selecting gears see if the selector shaft is doing anything......that's just a simple check.....other wise its possible the the selector has broken internally which should be a trans sump off and inspect....

the rods on the turbo's arent a pressed fit gudgeon pin either they are free floating, and pistons are of a slighlty different material and comp ratio

he asures me that it will sound the same, its a different pipe for ppl who are after the specific sound. aparently alot of ppl dont like the sound? I know I thought the same thing... lol. Give chris at rapid a email and ask him a few qustions good bloke should be able to help ya out...

hey all im after a set of agents, but since deciding and having a look at a few ive noticed that some are black and some are grey?? can any one clear this up for me... and with the after market ones what is the differance in looks compared to the originals, I know the gtps look alot different from one another.

hey dude just a stab in the dark, but after I had my car tuned on premium 98 petrol I heard bp was the go, but I was to find out it was the worst. Wen ever the car had been driving for a bit and I gave it it would do what u were explaining, it would kinda stutta and back fire, felt like I had no power. As soon as I told my tuner I was using bp he said it was sh*t and to change to sell, ive never looked back and the problem was solved. so give that a go if your using bp -
thanks paulie, but I gave Chris at rapid a call and sorted every thing out. rapid have a custom pipe that I'll be ordering that is exactly what I'm after. thanks every one for all you comments and help esspecialy ricks_xr6t for posting that rapid vid, just goes to show that this fourum really is a great resource for the car comunity.

thatks champ, I have got a red neon hidden ontop of the subs I'll try get a pic up wen it's a bit darker. with the mesurments it was all as I went I can pot up my mseurements but what I did was I made my boxes accordidng to my amps with room for my rcas and power ect, and made 2 seperate peices that I used as the face and top to make it look snug.. hope that helps a Lil if your honestly gonna start and want help pm me And I'll give u my number so I can get into a Lil more detail.

the spare tyre is still in its spot, that floor that you can see has little hinges and the base pulls up so if need be I still have access to the tyre

hey all finally got some pic's of my install up, took me all up about a week. alot of fustrating mesuring and some miss hits but in all wasnt to hard, worth the work. Just like to say a big thanks to nick from MANC custom audio for all his help and advice, and for tuning the system sounds better than ever! hope you's like it

yeh a few of my mateshave the nizpro box and are making big numbers like your self but its more of a, high pich sound im after like the (hate to say it) vl sound....

sounds good man, what's the air box made from?? p.s what other mods are involved with acheaving that figure must be wrapt with those numbers.
