thanks for all your responses ,had it in for the 15k service and was told by the mechanics at ford that it is in fact the turbo and way to loud.. there response was to order a new turbo,they said it is way to loud for a car with 12k on the clock ...cheers dave

hi guys took the car to herrods no 1 for fords.. he has the exact same car with the exact same noise.. he tell me its just the turbo and normal.. but I will still tell the dealer under warranty I want it replaced.. thanks again for the feedback..

thanks again the whining is oooooooohhhhhhhhh sound .. it is high pitched and almost hurts your ears.. I realy think it the diff but the dealer promises its turbo whine.. but as I said to him it was not there 1000ks ago so why now.. he said thew typhoons have the same problem.. I think it is the diff.the sound in the cabin sounds like the diff but so hard to tell.. the power has not been reduced so I am leaning towards the diff..

thanks guys.. I dont think its the turbo either but that's what the dealer says.. I reckon it is the diff for sure .. I will head to herrods and see if they can help..when you are stationary and rev the car you can not hear the turbo at all.. I might be an idiot but if it was the turbo would you not hear it all the time??

HI GUYS I AM JUST NEW TO THE FORUMS.. I HAVE AN AWESOME G6E TURBO IN EGO WITH THE FACTORY 19S.. IT HAS 12000KS ON THE CLOCK AND NOW I AM GETTING A LOUD WHINING NOISE ON TAKE OFF AND GOING UP HILLS.. HAD IT AT THE FORD DEALER WHO TELLS ME IT IS JUST TURBO WHINE.. BUT VERY LOUD WHEN YOU HAVE THE WINDOWS UP IT HURTS YOUR EARS.. THIS NOISE ONLY STARTED 1000 KS AGO SO IF ANY ONE CAN HELP WITH ANSWERS BEFORE IT GOES BACK TO FORD , AND THEY DO NOTHING.. I WANT THE NOISE GONE SO I CAN ENJOY THE RIDE AGAIN COULD IT BE THE DIFF???? THANKS GUYS
