  1. Cheers EvilDaifu for the very informative write up. It gave me the confidence to have a go myself. When I opened up the back there were two CD's on the same tray, one was a burnt CD. I assume this was the problem. When I got them out there were seven cd's all up in there! I hope that doesn't happen again.
  2. I use to overhaul automotive brakes in Brisbane a few years ago and we use to get truck loads of these calipers off taxis with all the same problem. Boots and seals crisp like they had been in a fire. I know we used a company called MCX Trading (also in Brisbane) for our caliper kits and out of the ordinary fluid seal or boots. They are wholesalers so you will have to source the kits through an automotive shop or try a decent brake reconditioning firm. Even if you have to have them sent down express post they will surely be much cheaper then genuine and excellent quality.
  3. I snapped my passenger front link the other day. It was bent rather bad too and the mechanic said it may have been a pot hole that caused it and also maybe extra load from having it lowered recently. As the swaybar is a Whiteline he replaced them both with Whiteline heavy duty linkages.
  4. Thanks for the replies. I have attached a few pics. To me it just doesn't seem as low as it should be. Anyhow check the pics and see what you guys think. Cheers, Jas.
  5. Hey all, I had my BA xr6t sedan lowered last week with king springs. SL front and SSL rear. The front sits perfect..just on the tyre. But the rear still needs another 30mm at least to be over the tyre. It's not what I expected as from what I have read and seen in photos, this combo should have been on the tyre front and rear. Am I wrong? Is this about the height it should be or should I be taking it back to get them to check? They told me it could take a week to really settle at its true height but im not too sure about that. Any feedback is appreciated. Thx, Jas.
