  1. Excellent result, got to be happy with that! Do you still have the single wheeler in it and how does it handle the new power? Be interested in seeing what times it pulls at the strip
  2. It means the car with the higher temp on the display, will be able to cool the cabin quicker, maintain the temp better and has the ability to go even cooler. Car with 20 on the display, occupants finding it a bit warm, want it cooler, turn it down 3 clicks to LOW. Car with 22 does the same and reads 19 on the display. Still not cool enough. Car with LOW can't get any cooler. Car with 19 still has more adjustment to be able to get cooler. Sorry, disagree. With the Euro you can set the compressor to be always on, so it will always be blowing cold air. With the FG in semi-auto mode, it'll be blowing cool air one minute then the compressor decides to switch itself off then blow out ambient air......WTF.
  3. Truth is, the AC in FG's is sh*t. If it weren't, then why are so many *beep* complaining?... and not just on this forum.
  4. My girlfriends Accord Euro has both auto and manual controls for the AC. In her car with the CC set to 24, is about the same as my FG set to 20. ^^ This.
  5. It does, but the compressor will turn off when I want it cooler. In LOW, the compressor should always be running and blowing out the coldest possible air at all times IMO.
  6. Its the stupid AUTO climate control. If you could manually turn the AC on and leave it on, I don't think many find it will have problems cooling. In mine, you can hear the compressor turning off and staying off, when I want it cooler. If it thinks cabin temperature is sufficient it will cycle the compressor, and there's nothing you can do the switch the compressor back on to start cooling. WE NEED MANUAL AC CONTROLS BACK FORD!
  7. Ego seems to be more popular. As for me, I picked the colour combination in my sig.
  8. I think his rims are 20s mate.
  9. Yep. Injectors switch off whilst coasting.
  10. It's a brilliant feature isn't it? Love it how it holds the gear when you're fanging it through the twisties. Unlike other 'performance' autos where as soon as you lift off, it will upchange then leave you in the wrong gear for the exit. Not with the ZF, you're already in the correct gear!
  11. Hey mate, My car did this when it had the timing cover oil leak. Noise went away after it was fixed. Nevertheless its a good excuse to tell the missus the turbo is kaput and you need a new bigger one :D Keep us posted on how you go.
  12. So do the exhaust manifold bolts on a FG need to be retorqued during service? Reason I ask is I'm ringing around for prices for the 15k service and some are charging up to more than $200 than others, which they claim the manifold bolts need to be checked.
